Something very interesting I

Something very interesting I noticed in the PDF is that in the September to November polls (and presumably before that), Ron's support was steady around 7-9%. It then jumped 5 points to 14% in December, and then has grown 1% each month in the past two months. Can anyone think why he had that little jump in December, and why he's stagnated since?

Lack of debates? Oh and the

Lack of debates? Oh and the message. I just did a post on that here - http://www.dailypaul.com/213942/just-some-thoughts

the focus of the campaign is rather strange and ridiculous. We need to stop focusing on the fed and gold. And start focusing on jobs, the economy and spending. Spending he's pretty good on but there's no reason why Romney should be beating Paul on the economy. The message just has not been developed enough to actually win. It will win some "converts" but will REALLY struggle to win actual elections.

lol

I actually generally agree

I actually generally agree with you. I feel like the biggest reasons people aren't voting for Ron Paul are 1) They think his foreign policy is crazy 2) They don't understand how his policies will create jobs 3) (mostly for older voters) they think he'll immediately cut off SS/Medicare benefits and 4) they think he's unelectable. Ron's done a good job addressing spending/debt, although I think he could tout his record more in that area. However, I think he has not focused enough of the "jobs, jobs, jobs" aspect of the economy, and I think he really needs (or needed) to drive home how he predicted the economic crisis years before it happened. I also think he hasn't explained his plan for SS/Medicare and welfare enough (or often enough). Lastly, I think the key on foreign policy is to present it in a pro-America way, and he has tried, and this is obviously a very difficult subject to address, but it could be done better/in a different manner. I also wanna say that I'm not saying all this to diss on Ron Paul or the campaign, I'm just giving some honest thoughts on how I think it could be better run.
