Spread the word. People in Alaska need to organize a few Town Hall meetings for him as well.

If you're going through SALEM on your way to VANCOUVER...

...hook up with us at 1:15PM at the Market St. Fred Meyer parking lot, across from Denny's. We leave there at 1:30. Don't be late!

BTW, I'm talking about Salem, OR. Vancouver, WA is across the state line (the Columbia River, as it happens) from Portland, OR. (There will be a debate in Portland in March, but there will only be like 300 tickets and they are being sold as big $$$$ fundraisers, so very few RPers will likely get in.)

What is begun in anger, ends in shame.

Primary Deadlines?

Does anyone know if there is a deadline to register to vote in the primary for Washington state? Do you have to register? I am already a registered republican voter but want to gain this information for friends and relatives who may not be prepared. Also, does anyone know if Ron is coming back on March 3rd for a speech? Seems like he should have good support up here.

Setting a good example is a far better way to spread ideals than through force of arms.
Ron Paul

I believe

that you just have to be registered to vote by the time you get to the caucus, and it probably wouldn't hurt to have the voter registration card in hand when you / they show up, just in case. (I haven't been asked for mine at the previous 2 caucus's I attended, but I had it handy!) That would mean you should probably do it asap!

I missed the part where you asked about the primary, this time around there is no primary in the state of Washington, it's all going to be done through the caucus's (precinct, county and state...). If there were a primary I believe the deadline is 30 days prior.

I'm not positive about that, so the best bet would be to check with your local county GOP or local meetup group for RP2012 if there is one.

saw the Secret Service choppers

Looking for Someone to Drop off a Super Brochure, in Twin

Hey there. I currently live in Atlanta, GA, but I was wondering if someone could drop off some Ron Paul literature at my Grandfather's office in Twin Falls? I saw this information and it prompted me to contact him about Ron Paul, and he seems to be listening so far. He is currently a supporter of Santorum, but my conversation about the NDAA and Paul's stance on it has him listening. He wont be able to attend the speech as he is working, but if someone could drop it by that would be great.

A bunch of us are getting car pools together

to go see Ron Paul in Seattle tomorrow night.
This will be a blast!

It's a 10 minute walk from my house

to see RP tomorrow.

LOL!

And not only that, I was invited by a FB friend to get a free ticket to get in early, an hour before the general public. Got my ticket!

Did you get in ??

It was so awesome !!! I cried for two hours, but they were tears of joy !God is good !!!I go to Second Presbyterian in downtown Greenville,SC.It's a wonderful church, with very loving people.

Going from Meridian to Twin Falls

A couple of friends and I are going from Meridian to Twin Falls for this if anybody needs a ride we got an extra seat open.

Can you look directly above your post...

Constitution First has asked if anyone could drop by with some literature to his Grandfather in Twin Falls.

Please see his post above yours by a couple.

Very glad to hear this.

Hope I am on my feet again in time to attend.

Love or fear? Chose again with every breath.

Bellingham Area?

I wish Dr. Paul was holding an event in the Bellingham area..home of Western Washington University and an area of pretty strong support. It looks like those of us up north will have to head down to SeaTac to see him in person for the time being..see you all there!

He will also be making a stop in Boise this Saturday

location unknown at this time.

Bump

I hope as many people as possible can show up. They're hoping for 900 people in Vancouver, WA.

Spokane Washington

on Friday the 17th, evening, or so we hear!

I will be there!

I heard about this via my Portland, OR meetup group yesterday. I've already made arrangements to get off work early enough so I can drive the 1 hour to Vancouver for the rally. Bringing my wife and 18 month old son along as well. I sure hope we can pack the room!

Good chance that

I will be coming from Portland as well. Also hoping to bring along my girlfriend who is on the fence about RP. She has never really disagreed with him - she just is "turned off" by the republican party. Its a association she has formed in her head-- I could never get her to change parties to vote for him, but hopefully seeing him in person will open her up more.

My wife

is also "turned off" by the GOP. That's why I really appreciate my Valentines day gift from her. She registered as Republican in Oregon so she can vote for Ron Paul May 15th. I'm sure she'll un-register May 16th. :)

that is

that is the perfect holiday gift - maybe I'll see you there I will be wearing a grey Ron Paul T-shirt-- although I suspect many other people will.

I think a day trip to Alaska

I think a day trip to Alaska would be a great idea. One town hall in Anchorage, one in Fairbanks and come home. Takes only one day of time and can really make a difference.

Ron Paul in Alaska

Apparently there's a good chance we can get a day trip out of the good doctor according to the reps sent up here by the official campaign. There's been some serious grassroots work in AK, and even talk of location, etc.
