A brokered convention with Ron Paul holding the chips?

A couple months ago the concept of a brokered convention was laughable. Only rank amateurs thought the 2012 Republican presidential race would come down to a food fight in Florida.

Things sure have changed after South Carolina.

When I was down there reporting on the primary, I noticed the complete absence of any evidence Mitt Romney was even running. I never met a single Romney supporter in five days knocking around the state. I didn't see a Romney lawn sign till late on Election Day, even though I drove hundreds of miles around the state....

A brokered convention is the reason people need to become not only Ron Paul Delegates, but also Ron Paul supporters need to try to become Romney Delegates and Santorum Delegates. After the first vote, in a brokered convention, delegates are free to chose any of the candidates they want. If a delegate was previously bond to one candidate, they are no longer bond after the first vote.

I'm surprised to see the lack of support for Rmoney. Really thought he would be stronger at this point. It's still open.
