Cost of War

This shows just how right Ron Paul has been.

How many would vote differently if they saw these costs come out of their paycheck every week?

Pass it on.

In all honesty,

the cost doesn't bother me as much as the innocent lives lost.

I am sick at heart at the loss of life and by the fact that many Americans only care about their own preservation.

“The law cannot make a wicked person virtuous…God’s grace alone can accomplish such a thing.” Ron Paul - The Revolution

where are the anti-war democrats?

Where are those who put the issues ahead of the D or the R?

Its sad.

Perspective

According to the chart $2.5 trillion in monetary costs. That’s over $32,000 in costs taken from every American family - either through taxation, inflation tax, or future taxation.

Put that in perspective. What would our economy look like if each family had an extra over $32,000? Might there be more ability to start new businesses and enterprises? Might there be less demand for charity services while greater donations to charities? Might there be more capital investment? Might there be more business, more jobs, and more opportunities available? Might there be increased commerce and trade? Might there be a lot less unemployment?

Instead of workers being unable to find jobs, might it even be possible that employers would having difficulty finding workers? Maybe. Maybe with a bit even further reduction in government burdens instead of a shortage of jobs there might be a glut of jobs and a shortage of workers to fill them. What happens to wages and benefits and workplace conditions in such a situation? With a thriving economy where employers must bid against each other for shortage of work force, minimum wages become obsolete, anyone who desires a job can easily obtain one, and anyone who desire to change jobs and do so easily.

It's no secret that fiat money and central banking are the

fuel for wars.

This is a powerful picture.

How could anyone not understand the cost?

Last week, someone on DP showed the 'formula' to figure just how many people had been killed with 'X' tax dollars paid in by a given individual. I did not copy it then, but I would like to now. I can't get it out of my head.

I hope whoever posted that last week, will repost it here.
