well, here's my old thread on a TN R3VOL prepper & YouTube personality David Sarti who was featured on the show, and has now since had all his guns confiscated without any due process.

It all happened because he was being a human and decided to extend trust and crack a joke; simply because his idiot statist control-freak BigPharma drug dealer cardiologist didn't 'get' David's self-denigrating sense of humor about his weight problems and how it'll probably do him in.
Which, prompted the new cardiologist to ask if he owned any guns. Predictably, "yes" to that single question led to having local sheriff's deputies called on him, deemed him suicidal, committed, but later confirmed NOT to be suicidal, and released.
However, Sarti merely being committed to the psych ward for evaluation got him on the UnConstitutional No-Gun-Buylist, simply because he could not get that expunged, even though he was not charged, nor convicted, nor had his day in court. Not to mention not being compensated for the State essentially STEALING his private property!

I wonder who the "experts" are. And I have to chuckle at the end of the show when they have to reassure the audience that the preppers have no real reason to be so concerned- everything is hunky dory.
Good question
Like at the end of an episode where the prepper believes there could be an economic collapse the narrator says something like, "but most economists believe there is no chance of that happening". And I shout at the TV that it is those same fucking economists that have brought us to where we are today. THAT is reason enough to prep. The people that are being relied on as "experts" and with whom we are told (or forced) to place our trust are idiots or corrupt, or both. Their system is built to keep up in the dark and them in control.
