Video thanks to Puma for Life; Updated video thanks to We The People

BOISE, Idaho – 2012 Republican Presidential candidate Ron Paul draw a remarkable crowd of more than 1,350 supporters and undecided voters in Twin Falls, Idaho today. It was the first of many events comprising a three-day, multi-stop visit to the key caucus states of Idaho and Washington.

The 12-term Congressman from Texas launched his three-day Pacific Northwest visit with a town hall meeting held at 12:00 p.m. MST in the Roper Auditorium of Twin Falls Senior High School, located at 1615 Filer Avenue East, Twin Falls, ID 83301

It's much simpler to have Bill O'Reilley tell the citizenry.....

whom to support. These unawakened individuals still amass a large block of the voting population unfortunately. That's what differentiates the Ron Paul supporters from the aforementioned individuals. These individuals will not do any research whatsoever, for it's much easier for their brains absorption of information if Bill O'Reilley, Chris Matthews, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and the rest of the Neo-Cons (However, Chris Matthews is more a liberal-- an Obama supporter) tell them whom to support. It's so much easier if someone else does your thinking for you.

Truly a fantastic speech, a seminal statement

Got chills a few times as I was listening to this. The truth will set us free!

Just wait for tomorrow in Boise

The Century Link Arena holds about 5000. I'm thinking we might just fill it up!

Great speech

Great speech

definition of terms: "equality"

"They're working on equality, equality of poverty. That, I say, we should have no part of. We want our freedom back!"

Cuz people are STUPID

It's really that simple, the average voter is so dumb they don't even bother to do research on who they vote for.

How can anyone reject this man's message?

Simply does not compute.

The WORST Bible analogy ever - lol!

OK, obviously no one wants to compare RP to Jesus, John Lennon already tried that. ;)
How about Moses? He led people to "the promised land" but still, people might get in a twist about a "Moses" comparison.
Maybe King Solomon the wise. Maybe David, slaying Goliath?
The preacher who did the invocation passed on all of these options, and nearly made me bust out laughing in the middle of his prayer.
He went with Noah.
They guy who sailed off with his family while the rest of humanity drown? THAT IS BERNANKE!! lol!
The event was WONDERFUL but that analogy still makes me giggle.

Love or fear? Chose again with every breath.

Without having heard the invocation, I can see some parallels between Ron Paul and Noah.

For 40 years Noah warned of the coming destruction. He was laughed at and worse, but he continued to prepare for the disaster and he continued to warn others. The ark was open to anyone who wanted to go in, but most of them didn't believe him, so they didn't take his advice and they suffered the consequences. Only a few, the remnant, heeded the warning and were saved from destruction.

It looks like a pretty good comparison to me.

I was just sharing what went through my mind,

It struck me funny, and a terrible comparison. I see your point, but what I shared was my gut reaction. I tend to find humor in odd places. Nice to see folks unable to find humor at all, makes me glad I at least have my warped sense of humor in tact.

Love or fear? Chose again with every breath.

Awesome line by Dr. Paul:

"Now, if they would've given that bill [The Patriot Act] a proper name like 'Repeal The Fourth Amendment Act', guess what: it probably wouldn't have passed..."

The Dr. is a walking truthbomb!!!
Not one scripted word!
39 mins of talking from the heart.
Way to bring it!!

Truly Awesome!

That was an awesome speech. I only wish it could have been aired nationally during prime time. My president puts all other candidates to shame. ;)

"Ron Paul Attracts More Than

"Ron Paul Attracts More Than 1,350 Voters in Twin Falls, Idaho"

...whose votes will all mysteriously disappear during the caucus.

To be fair, there were several minors present

They invited 3 high schools, and not all of them were old enough to vote. Not all of them were RP supporters, either. Counting this as a group of "supporters" is not quite accurate. It was a FANTASTIC crowd, and MOSTLY supportive, but when he spoke about foreign policy a handful of people left. But if you think this was good, wait until Saturday. He will be in Boise on a weekend with a few days notice - I'm betting several thousand SUPPORTERS will attend.

Love or fear? Chose again with every breath.

Amazing speech

I felt just like that news anchor at the very end!

Twin Falls has 80k people in the county, and not much else near by. That means Ron Paul pulled in 1.67% of the population for that metro area.

Santorum pulled in 2k-3k in Boise. Ada / Canyon county are slammed up against each other for a total population of 581k (2010 census). That means Santorum pulled in..... 0.52% of the population of this metro area.

That is a pretty good showing for Ron Paul in Twin.

If I wasn't shoving all our money to the campaign, for fliers, and super brochures, I'd be putting some money in Vegas on Ron Paul winning Idaho. Popular vote AND the delegate vote.

I like a guy who would wager on that

The Remnant

Interesting that Dr. Paul speaks of the "Remnant" alot lately but in the church we are taught that God will always have a remnant on earth.........

Elija Speaking To God, "Lord, Lord, I Alone Am Left.".. The Lord

said, " I have reserved 7,000 for myself." (remnant)

1350 is ok

But I think we bested that in Vancouver today! The fire marshal had to turn people away after we filled the ballroom, the standing room, and the lobby! Dr. Paul even mentioned it looked like we had more people ;)

I had family who lived in Twin Falls--

once . . . not there any more.

It is a small town, really.

A very rural area--

far from any other 'urban' center--

I think the entire population of Idaho could fit in Seattle/Vancouver--

And Twin Falls is not even the second largest 'city' in Idaho--

So this is meaningful--

it's hard to be awake; it's easier to dream--

Compare population bases!

People in Vancouver would not even call Twin Falls "city." It is a large farming town!

Must get out the vote. Supporters show up and vote.

That was the biggest success of the day!

All those people making sure that we had their contact information so we can get them to the caucuses on March 3rd!
