A 104-year old patient came WALKING into my office today.

Ron Paul 2012

I first saw him 6 years ago … he came in today because he lost his lower denture and needed a new one. I told him that he was born before the IRS and the Income tax, before the Federal Reserve Central Bank, before our US Senators were voted at large and before prohibition. He said “Yes I know” … Turns out he ran and won as a PA State Treasurer (many years ago). He obviously does not like what he has seen over his 104 years. I asked him who he is voting for … He said "Dr. Paul … even though he is a little too young for the job"!

I asked him if he remembered the Flappers from the twenties … he just smiled! Tomorrow when he comes back in … he will get a copy of the “Liberty Jazz Standards” … music he can relate to. I just hope he as a CD player … and not a Reel-to-Reel.

WOW ... I walk away a few hours and it has 104 hits! The post was meant to be uplifting; as my visit with him was for me. I will try to get him to our local meetup at our Ron Paul Information Center on Monday night. I will try to get a film (that is what I will tell him ... it will actually be digital video) interview. I'll get Suezie to do the interview (one of my staff members, her day job ... she is actually our local Jazz singer and did the "Ron Paul and All That Jazz" CD). I think he will do it ... he is kind of sweet on her anyway!

Last weekend I had a good hour long heart to heart about politics with one of my perio clinic professors. He was genuinely intrigued. He cheerfully accepted a few Super Brochures at the end of the night.

My dental school is full of patriots.

This is a great idea - have this feller speak about Dr. Ron Paul - a spry young whipper-snapper with gumption - and how even though Paul is only 76 he does have some good ideas for how to turn this nation around before we all sail off a cliff :)

Flappers,Gin mills,Etc. My Grand Mother told me all about them.LOL. Ask him about ration stamps during WWII when folks were putting tire treads over tires that would hold air! LOL. And now we complain if our central heat and air is off by a degree or two? What ever happened to "slippers" and "night coats"?

Is he willing to endorse? Former "PA State Treasurer" would be newsworthy, along with his age.

The campaign has a process for the endorsements they publish. You may want to call them and get the process started.
