LOL! He's grasping straws!

LOL! He's grasping straws! (so to speak)

As a GOP chairman, it's his responsibility and duty that 100% of the votes were counted, rectify clerical errors, investigate voting discrepancies and ascertain the votes tallied were correct before prematurely announcing the winner with only 84% of precincts reporting especially since the difference were so close that it could change the results. That's being fair and neutral, yet he claims he is otherwise when all evidence point to him being a Romney fellator and teabaggee.

WTF! Video no longer

WTF! Video no longer available? What's happening? Youtube took it down?! Was this ordered by Romney?

I don't think the errors and

I don't think the errors and fraud discovered in the caucus events are reason to move away from the caucus model. Rather, I think the fact that problems were noticeable and discoverable in the caucus model is a great reason why all elections should move toward the caucus model. Ideally rules would be put in place to count the votes aloud and in the presence of the caucus, then post them publicly, afterwards sending an emailed copy to be tallied by precinct as a backup to a phone call and posted transparently on a website accessible to the public. Caucus goers should be able to cross check their local results with the final tally. Precinct chairs should have contact info available so that interested parties, like the media if they ever got off their lazy asses, can re verify the data with each precinct chair. That is what should happen. I have more faith in the caucus because at least we can detect the B.S. unlike putting your anonymous vote into a black hole and then pulling out a winner.

This isn't rocket science. I have handled far larger and more complex data files than the ones they are dealing with here and if I had the errors they had I would be fired immediately and someone competent enough to do it could be easily found. Further, if I did suspect errors, I would have documentation to easily correct and crosscheck my work. There is no excuse for this shoddy and dishonest work of the GOP.

Good job

So great to have at least one reporter actually covering the news with facts and information. This guy has a great career ahead of him, he could be the first main anchor of a yet created Liberty News Network, he could share the spot with Judge Nap.

So

i was doing a little mental math while listening....and i get the difference in votes would be 63 already...not 40. Unless he just didn't say a few others that he already knows.

My faith is somewhat restored

I was surprised that faux "news" actualy reported on this. I have to say my faith in their network is somewhat restored. I think based on the trends of the additional votes they have decided to count, it is clear that most of those turning out are in favor of the good doctor. While it is true that these events are beauty contests, I feel it is important to get accurate counts out to the public as so many still believe CNN and Fox and decide to vote on who is popular. As sad a reason as that is, it is true. Go get em' folks!

whooaaaa

not so fast. fox news didn't file this report, a local fox affiliate did, big difference.

Thank you Mr Swann!

You are reporter of the year in my book!

Now We Better Win

Who is organizing to make sure we win? You better believe Romney's people will be out in force. Let's win and then we'll start making heads roll.

Hancock County Needs Work Too!

It sounds like Hancock County in Maine might also be back in play. They are also voting on Saturday the 18th. The GOP chair in that county is challenging Websters claim that Hancock will not be counted. If this is so, we better get to work there as well!

We don't want to do some great work in Washington county only to be outmaneuvered in Hancock. Imagine if they put a lot of Romney effort into Hancock county and then we get a rude surprise on Saturday when they decide to add in their votes as well.

This is based on Ben Swann's latest from Maine released on Thursday the 16th http://www.fox19.com/story/16956297/reality-check-maine-gop-...
