Here's an interesting thread with some Maine GOP insiders discussing the controversy. A couple people mention phone calls they've had with Charlie Webster. Sounds like there is some serious insider politicking going on with Charlie trying to shore up some support for his actions. But it doesn't sound like he's getting it.

This is going to be interesting to watch - LOL.
