What's this about Visas and Muslims. . . ?

I read this today:

http://www.investors.com/editorial/editorialcontent.asp?stat...

And I was wondering if anyone had more info about this. It doesn't seem like Ron Paul to want to enact laws so heavily rooted in profiling.

Is there a special definition of "terrorist state" that I'm unaware of, because as far as I know, determining which countries are "terrorist" and which aren't is kind of subjective.

there are some articles by

there are some articles by RP on lewrockwell.com regarding immigration...read them...he is not against immigration persay...in fact he is all for legal immigrants...one if the reasons he is against amnesty is because it gives a raw deal to hopeful legal immigrants still waiting for visas...there are two reasons he wants controls on immigration...1.national security and 2. the welfare state.
i too saw that RP ad in which he talked about visas to students from terrorirst nations...don't know what exactly he has in mind....but one thing i do know is that the man is never unfair and never says anything without having thought it out and without having good reasons...

There are countries on a terrorism watch list

I think withholding student visas from countries like Saudi Arabia is a good thing. it will force the young people of such countries to pressure their governments into change.
