Dr. Paul Supporters Are Some Of The Best People Out There...Here's Why

I live in Savannah, Ga. and have been a Ron Paul fan for a very long time. This year, I decided to be more active about campaigning for him and trying to go through the delegate process. I have been very sick lately and am on a lot of meds, so I can get confused pretty easily. Long story short, I am driving all over the place (thanks mapquest) looking for our mass precinct meeting. As I was freaking out about getting there on time, I suddenly passed a yard with Ron Paul signs in the front yard. After u-turning, I pulled in and hoped I would be received well early on a Saturday morning. A woman answered the door and I explained to her my issues. She immediately jumped in her unlocked car, and without even asking for my name or phone number, plugged in the address I gave her and handed me her tom tom gps system. No questions, no asking for my contact info, she just told me to get in my car and go. Without her kindness, I would not have made it to become a delegate as the doors would have locked in front of me. I found her house again, and returned it to her with a big and a thank you (along with some super brochures to pass out to friends and neighbors).

I guess my point is, I have never met a Dr. Paul supporter who wasn't intelligent, kind, honest, and friendly. I wanted to share this story, because as while I see people like Newt Gingrich run for office and all of his backroom deals and ethics violations (if you are going to cheat on your wife whom you are supossed to love, I'm not trusting you with our country), and as I hear Rick Santorum talk about family values and his conservatism (what an awful record he has in congress), and when I see Mitt Romney as the next status quo who lies and will tell you whatever you want to hear to get elected (I'm sure he isn't looking for any power or backroom deals), All I can really hear is Dr. Paul talk about openness in government, more than just family values, a very modest salary for a long, hard, honest days work, saving our future and this country.

I can honestly say, that we, all of us tied to Dr. Paul have become a very large and very growing family of strangers and friends. So when I hear Dr. Paul talk about how when he was a younger Dr. you took care of people because it was the right thing to do, he understands people before profits. And when I hear Dr. Paul talk about bringing home our troops as they have no reason to be killing many innocent people for someone elses resons (as well as the suicide rate going on, not to mention our national debt crisis in which neither party understands, and the fact that he wants peace, not war (too many people being scared by the MSM and forgetting to think for themselves is a bad thing) Dr. Paul isn't just good for this country, for uniting people, for bringing families closer, for being honest, for having integrity, and standing up for truth, justice, and the right way, Dr. Paul is good for uniting our world (where we can for the first time in the history of the world, work to solving world issues like food and disaese and the many other problems we will and do face), I know everyone on here knows this, but I wanted to share, and I wanted to say thank you.

So if you are out there reading this, thanks for the gps, and if you are reading this otherwise, thanks for all of your hard work and effort, your optimism and cheer, and the community that I belong to the most, the family that is growing each passing day. No matter what happens, Dr. Paul will always be my president, and Mrs. Paul will always be my First Lady. It would certainly be nice to see a White house filled with all 18 of the first grandchildren). So with that, Thank you Dr. Paul for your tireless effort, your manners, your intelligence, your leading, teaching, and guiding us back to common civility(and so you know, when you are down, we will pull you back up, and when you are up, its just awesome!!!) what a great job you do, and thank you dailypaul for giving us a forum in which we can gather, share, and fight for what we believe in, and thank you rp supporters for becoming friends wherever I go.

Cheers,

Dave

My first comment on DP

Very nice uplifting story Dave and thanks for sharing. I'm new here, just used DP Chat this morning for the first time, and it feels great commenting on someone's post for the first time. Can't wait till I have something nice enough to write for my first post.

Ron Paul people.

Just a couple hours ago I was eating a late dinner with some fellow canvassers and the subject of "Ron Paul people" came up. Having been part of the R3VOLution since 2007, I already knew about this phenomenon, but the other 3 with me were just discovering it.

Welcome aboard, Dave! The great thing about the R3VOLution is that, unlike a packed RP rally, there's always room for more!! :-)

What is begun in anger, ends in shame.

God I love Ron Paul people!

I never get tired of saying that!

Thank you for sharing that story!

I hope to see you and a bunch of other folks in Tampa!

Thank you kindly!

I'm quite fond of it. Wish I could call it my own!

The moment I saw I knew that needed to be my sig line. A good slap of reality in the face!

What a super-wonderful story

This is what I'm finding, too. The Paul movement has created a "segregation," with like-minded people all in the Paul camp.

The Paul people ARE kind and enthusiastic. They want this better way so badly that they will do anything to achieve it. So it will be, because "Ask and you will receive." We aren't just asking: we're demanding!! God bless you.

By the way if I can be of help to you in your health quest, let me know: drkresearch@hotmail.com. By the way the herb rosemary (organic, not irradiated) helps with mental acuity.

Rosemary is also the herb for radiation. Fukushima anyone.

Helps clean radiation out of the system. Can be added with good taste to most anything and grows like a weed, smells good too. If you lived in Oregon I could give you a gallon jar of dried leaves. Bay leaf as well have bags of the stuff. Nice to see other medicinal herb people on the DP. I have 70ish medicinal plants growing in my yard. Did a few radio shows on the subject and those were the most popular ones.

Yes, Rosemary and Oregano are very good antioxidants -- I need to remember to get some more and add plenty to my food.
Also: Kelp
And mega-dose of Vitamin C (Dr. Pauling, a chemist from Portland proposed this and has helped many people with this simple treatment).
Those are a few things I've been enjoying lately, along with raw foods and yoga. Good health helps so much in life!

This is a wonderful story. I

This is a wonderful story. I know what you mean about it bringing us together. I just think this is great! I saw someone else say he never thought he would see this revolution in his lifetime. Me too, it is really something how it has brought us all together.

People who care deeply about peace and

freedom and truth are bound to feel good will and love for all who share those values. Molyneaux defines love as the recognition of virtue -- as experienced universally, not restricted to narrow scriptural or partisan ideas.

Just look at 'em!

Those Ron Paul people...they ALL look like they are going to a high school football game on friday night.

They are a slice of America ANY way you cut 'em.

They are you and me!

Rock on, Dr. Paul!

Ron Paul
2012

its 'cos I owe ya, my young friend...
Rockin' the FREE world in Tennessee since 1957!

Now that's my America!

I grew up in a time of decency. At least that's how I felt at the time.
No one locked their doors because there was no need. You never lost your car keys because they were always in the car. Your neighbors, as well as yourself could be counted on in a pinch. No matter the reason.
I had always dreamed of this country with an honest man, not to run it, but guide it for all the right reasons and lead by example.
I have been saying for years, Dr. Ron Paul is President Paul and I would be a proud patriot to see him take his rightful place in history.
You have had a wonderful experience and thank you for sharing it.
There is hope.

I love my country
I am appalled by my government

I was born in 1953

We would travel "up North" to Lovells MI and leave our house unlocked. In fact my parents did not know where the house keys were..True story. Our neighbors freely came and went , feeding our birds and watering our plants. My parents NEVER locked our doors. We went to California for three months and the whole neighborhood knew that we were gone..I never for a day lived in fear of crime. That is what I want to feel again... that peace of trusting..

Laurelai

I was born in 1952 and live in Michigan

We never lock the house door. Buglers don't feel very safe when the door is unlocked, there are NRA stickers on the windows and a very loud aggressive German Shepard going nuts on the other side of the door. LOL

I totally agree! We need our own US territory where we can all

live together in peace and harmony!

Nice heartening story, Dave.

Nice heartening story, Dave. Thanks for sharing it with us. I felt good reading it and satisfied when I finished it. Cheerio, Dave!

PS. If you're sick, look into getting yourself a cupping set and learn cupping. A cupping set would be one of the best things you could buy. They're inexpensive too.

School's fine. Just don't let it get in the way of learning. -Me

Its Stories like this...

That makes being a RP supporter more rewarding (if thats possible) Your story made me smile!
Keep up the good work
