Do people really understand what a NeoCon IS?

I hear people accusing other politicians of being a NeoCon on the Daily Paul and mostly they are right, but sometimes way off.

Of course you can go to wiki and get those sometimes limited definitions.

Let me give you a more direct definition.

First - NeoCon is the direct opposite of PaleoCon. ( look it up)

To help you Dr. Paul is half PaleoCon and half Libertarian.

The objective of NeoCons is to spread the wealth around the world, same as Obama with one big difference. Obama wants global government via a hybrid socialism/communism, the NeoCons want global Government via Corporatism/Elitism.

Both groups want to limit your power (getting rid of middle class) for example. Why? because the middle class has the power to subdue the elite upper class. Also, To stop competing companies and/or individuals from growing. Why? Because that could take power from them. So if they ship jobs overseas, NAFTA, GATT etc. it spreads the wealth, but limits growth in the US, but the end result is it stops the poor and middle class in this country from rising to compete with them. Once you are rich, your kids will usually be as well, the lucky sperm club syndrome. But for you or your kids just try and be successful in a bankrupt America? Sure it can happen, but not with the numbers in the past.

The idea is to stop America's growth, economically, for NeoCons they want a globe to spread their corporatism, with poor people that will work for them, like a giant company store from back in the coal mine days. For Obamaism, they want a globe too, but not controlled by Corporations, but by socialist Government. The both want global Government and are both globalists and love the UN, IMF, and are parts of various organizations like the CFR, E8 etc. They both DO NOT want rogue nation states like Iran, N. Korea, Cuba etc. they are a threat because they do not play they game.

Both do not want the Constitution or Guns, they are a threat. They want laws from all over the world, they want OPEN borders, why? No Nation States, No rules for the Giant corporations. So you libertarians, get rid of OPEN borders, that's a scam.

They want paper money, but be careful they would put in place a global GOLD standard too as long as it's not a Nation State Gold standard.

They do not want Nation States or Free societies, they want a global plantation.

Now there is a lot more to the NeoCon definition, but Big Spending, Big Reach policing, Big OverSeas foreign Aid, Global currency, and not following the Constitution are all huge clues to know who is a NeoCon or not.

Here is my list of who is on and who is not. Remember I'm talking Republican's, not Dems here.

Constitution is not a threat them- it empowers them

Because the federal Constitution grants the federal government the authority to interpret the article 1 sec 8 grants of power and the ten amendments that restrict their power.

All they had to do, and did, was interpret the grants of power broadly and the restrictive clauses narrowly.

Spot on about guns though.

learn civics and know your adversary.

Should update the list

Excellent resource though.

Most Neo-Cons are only supporters, or surrogates

There are very few real neo-cons. Neo-Conservatives are actually an extension of an Israeli right wing party called "Likud". There is a Christian branch of true neo-conservatism which is fundamentalist Protestantism.

Here's a real neo-con. Sheldon Adelson. Go ahead. Google him. Now recoil with horror. Strong ties to an Israeli political party. Owns an Israeli newspaper with strong ties to the Israeli government. Ties with the People's Republic of China. A dual Israeli citizen. Under FBI investigation. This is all fact. All I can say is, "look it up".

If Ron Paul is the Godfather of the Tea Party, then Henry Kissinger is the Godfather of the Neo-Cons.

Most of the 'neo-cons' are only following orders, teleprompters, or talking points.

When neo-con media outlets have "news" reporters and opinion shows, they are paid to read their lines.

When those teleprompter readers go OFF SCRIPT they are reigned in.

If they dare to go AGAINST SCRIPT they are fired.
Examples: Rick Sanchez, Keith Olbermann, Glenn Beck

So, almost ALL the T.V. personalities, are just hacks collecting a paycheck and reading a screen. Bill Kristol is one of the only neo-cons who will go on camera.

One of the most perfect neo-con media teleprompter readers is Bill O'Reilly. He NEVER goes off message, and will do whatever is asked of him.

Jim Demint is not a Neo-Con, he just has to be very careful. Not everyone can be as open about their beliefs as Ron Paul.

The biggest name to worry about as a neo-con is Eric Cantor. If you don't believe me, look for Fox being critical of Eric Cantor. Good luck with that.

Palin is a neocon

Simpler definition: A neocon is an Israel-Firster

I know some of you may think that an oversimplification. But it is not. It is just a simplification. Most of the neocons, their hearts lie with Israel and they'll do anything to protect it. That is the bottom line with them.

In other words, they are traitors.

I don't know why it's so hard for people to say that word. It is a harsh accusation but it must be used when accurate.

Palin was very kind to openly agree about Ron Paul on a lot of things. The way she was talking for a while, I would have thought she would endorse him...but no...she sold out! She endorsed a neo-con...Gingrich! So I kind of call it for what it is & I don't believe a non-neo-con would endorse a neo-con! Sorry Palin! You blew it with most of us!

In her heart...

I honestly believe Palin is with us more than she's with the neocons. However, in my opinion, she has become addicted to the spotlight and sold out her soul to keep in it as long as possible.

Ron Paul's answer

In this classic 2003 speech to Congress, Ron Paul exposes the neocon agenda, outlines its background and goals and names its proponents. Video and Transcript of Full 51 minute 2003 speech by Ron Paul.

a Political Philospher (from the June 2, 2003 issue)

The Weekly Standard Magazine | By: Peter Berkowitz

"THE NEW YORK TIMES, the New Yorker, and the Boston Globe, among others, have sounded the alarm: The Bush administration, particularly its foreign policy team, is in the grip of a coterie of neoconservative intellectuals who are themselves in the grip of the antidemocratic and illiberal teachings of Leo Strauss, a political philosopher who taught at the University of Chicago in the '50s and '60s and who died in 1973."

It's a intellectual school of thought not limited to Repubicans only. You want to run and rule the world you are a neocon. Obama is a neocon socialist in my opinion.

No one has deputized America to play Wyatt Earp to the world.
-Pat Buchanan

Now hold on thar!

I don't think I'd be inclined to call it "intellectual", and it might not even be "thought".

I think it's more like "neanderthal grunting" and "hair pulling, while blaming it on your rival".

you tube irving krystol

Father of that POS Bill Krystol.

They are former democrats who describe themselves progressive marxists socialists and Somehow they found a home in the republican party. Late 60' s early 70's. Basically killed off the Ron Paul Pat Buchanan old right been looting and bombing ever since with the help of the Christian right.

No one has deputized America to play Wyatt Earp to the world.
-Pat Buchanan

Neo means "new" and paleo means "old"....

There are conservatives, who were once paleo-conservatives, that have become neo-conservatives because they got sucked into the movement of the Neoconservatives.

Reagan was probably not a neo-conservative, but, unfortunately, Neocons crawled into his administration and did a lot of damage to this country. These are the same people who almost got Reagan impeached because of their Iran/Contra scheme.

You can add William Kristol, Bill Bennett, David Frum, Oliver North, Richard Perle, Frank Gaffney, John Bolton, Michael Lehdeen, Rush Limbaugh, Michael Medved, Michael Savage, Mark Levin, and a lot of other radio hosts to the list of Neocons.

"Neo" doesn't really mean "new".
It means "faux" or "in the likeness of".

Think about it this way - if you build a fancy house with Neoclassic Greek Columns on the front, they are not "new" classics. They are faux-classic or in the style of the original Greek forms defined as classic architecture.

With you on the Reagan fiasco, he was completely neutered in his second term.

"In the beginning of a change the patriot is a scarce man, and brave, and hated and scorned. When his cause succeeds, the timid join him, for then it costs nothing to be a patriot."--Mark Twain

From the dictionary...

new, recent, or a new or modern form or development.
Word Origin: from Greek neos "new"

A neocon is

A so called conservative who puts Israel's interests ahead of Americas.

NeoConservatism started before Israel was a country

right, it started with

right, it started with zionism in the late 1800's..it just became popular in the US in the 80's...and it has a lot to do with the United States and Israel even though it wasn't a nation yet...the building blocks were there..it also has to do with Leon trotsky's movement of the 30's and 40's..so around and around we go to say it has to do with the US and Israel

"and the truth shall make you free"
John 8:32

It may have "started" before then...

...but Israel>America is a common trait.

The most

Common trait. Starting with the "father" of neoconservatism, Bill Crystals dad.

The original neocons are people like Bush, Romney, Obama, Rice, Cheney, and Hillary Clinton and Cain.

Then, they are those that they converted like Santorum, Rubio and Hannity and Levin and Savage and Huckabee and Perry and O'Reilly.

Then, there are those that are not fully converted like Michael Reagan / Ronald Reagan, Fred Thompson, Chuck Norris, and Newt Gingrich and Palins.

True - Palin is not a neocon, but anti-estab.

Rubio is a Neocon.

Demint is not a Neocon.
Gingrich is not a Neocon.
Cavuto is not a Neocon.

Gingrich is...

the perfect example of a Neocon.

Minnesota Mary

Add to that description Rockerfeller republican. I would argue Obama Pelosi Reed Feinstein Liberman are all neoconservatives as well.

No one has deputized America to play Wyatt Earp to the world.
-Pat Buchanan

Sarah Palin- Not a NeoCon

you dont think so?
