Jan Helfeld Reduces Santorum to Stuttering

Rick can't seem to defend his position on abortion in this interview

http://youtu.be/G2BrZm7EEpk

In this classic interview Jan infuriates Nancy Pelosi so much that she calls the guards!

http://youtu.be/8pFC3LKMIQo

And in this one a pompous left wing congressman threatens to toss Jan out the window after he tries to argue that borrowing money makes a nation wealthy!

http://youtu.be/UjbPZAMked0

And here George Stephanopoulos ends the interview when he realizes he has been had and his talking points are inconsistent

I actually think Rick Santorum handled himself well

He wasn't reduced to stuttering. He answered the questions with some viewpoints that I don't agree with, but he answered the questions directly. The interviewer kept trying to ask the same question 5 different ways, and Santorum stuck to his points, wrongheaded as they may be.

We all want progress, but if you're on the wrong road, progress means doing an about-turn and walking back to the right road; in that case, the man who turns back soonest is the most progressive.

I agree with you

He didn't stutter or stumble in this interview, and i in fact started to get a little frustrated with the line of questioning because it was answered.

the guy is funny

But completely obnoxious. He does ask the same thing 10 ways I would get annoyed as well. Even if these people are hypocrites. Go ahead and down vote :)

Ron Paul weighed-in on Santorum inconsistencies as well.

Ron Paul blasts Santorum's 'atrocious' voting record [Video]

Presidential hopeful Rep. Ron Paul, still lacking in victories in the GOP-nominating contests, sounded an optimistic note in his campaign's prospects and dinged his rivals for being insufficiently conservative in an appearance Sunday on CNN's "State of the Union with Candy Crowley."

I watched a few

more of his videos today on youtube, he is definitely a Ron Paul supporter.

Jan is a strange person,

He has that dumb as a fox/Columbo like personality that catches people off guard. He is unique, and he sure does rattle some people.

RickStone

Something else that bothers me that Rick is getting away

with is all this talk now from him about how he believes in states rights. In one of the first debates he got in an argument with Ron Paul against it and his point was what if they do the wrong thing ( according to him obviously)? The example he gave was polygamy. I didn't like Ron's reply but I thought yet again another scumbag politician who will decide when he will or won't follow the constitution.

It amazes me how people smarter than me constantly

miss the obvious: If you hire a hit man should you not be charged for the murder? Doesn't that apply to Rick's answer and therefore the fact that it doesn't make sense?

Thats because they aren't

Thats because they aren't smarter than you. :)

great angle

"Jan infuriates Nancy Pelozi..." you mean Herr Adolf infuriates

Nancy PelNAZI...huh.

Santorum does not pass the Turing test.

Santorum does not pass the Turing test.
He does not connect with the questions, he only repeats memorized and scripted talking points. There's no human intelligence at work here . . . and whoever wrote the talking points for him doesn't have a lot going for them upstairs, either.

I believe the most important point

that Santorum made in this video was that he would NOT punish the woman who has an abortion, just the abortionist. He would also support a punishment for the abortionist that falls short of imprisonment, e.g. professional sanctions.

So while he believes that the unborn child is a person with a natural right to life granted by our Creator and whose life is deserving of protection under the law he does not believe that the law should protect that person with the same sanction as other homicides.

This says to me that he is not conscientiously pro-life, he is politically pro-life. It also explains to me why he has done nothing to prevent or halt abortion when he was in office and indeed has voted along pro-abortion lines on occasion.

This is a perfect example of how Santorum, Gingrich and Romney think and act. There is a complete disconnect between their words and their actions. As Newt said to his wife when she called him a hypocrite for speaking at a Family Values Conference immediately after telling her he was divorcing her while she was lying in her sickbed: "My role and responsibility is to publicly speak to these values, not to live by them".

"Jesus answered them: 'Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who commits sin is a slave to sin. The slave does not remain in the house forever; the son remains forever. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.'" (John 8:34-36)

It's all politics.

"he is politically pro-life"

That was my take as well. If he was thinking at all during that interview, my guess would be that he was thinking "yeah, giving the mother 20 to life may be the consistent thing to do, but there's no way I can get elected if I actually say that".

It's interesting that because they let political expedience be their guide, they end up with inconsistencies in their positions that tend to reflect the inconsistencies of their target voters. It's really in your face when Romney says he will "increase the military and balance the budget". Many voters like the idea "increase the military", and they like the idea "balance the budget", but since very few voters notice the inconsistency between those two goals, the unprincipled politician will adopt and promote the inconsistent position in order to appeal to the majority.

Why do people even allow Jan

Why do people even allow Jan Helfield to interview them? Don't they know they are just falling into a trap?

lets not tell them

So was he going to ask santo if he himself would divorce his wife if gays got married? Couldnt really tell where he was going...
It seems his whole format is make them.make simple agreements and then force them to to either have to admit they lied or get mad amd walk... Haha he is great... He does need to either lose the moustache, grow a beard, or go with a mohawk from now on. The kids love it

Jan Helfeld has that Adolf

Jan Helfeld has that Adolf hair thing going on.

I was thinking the same thing

lol I thought for a second he was going to ask Rick how he should invade Poland

Lol..right on. With this camera angle and mustasche, it's a...

dead giveaway.

That's one good Adolf H...if there ever was one.

Santorum ownd on pro-life by Hitler

Give the video this title and i garuntee its viral.... Make sure you put a ron paul ad at the end first...!!

Rick Santorum

Is probably the most dangerous candidate in the race. The way he talks and what his mind wants to focus on. When he got into office he would be the most abusive executive in regulating out personal lives.

Santorum is a complete disaster.

He's a Knights of Malta member and Opus Dei,

and is following their agendas. Catholics never used to support Zionism, but people from these occultic groups are using the Santorum's and Gingrich's (Opus Dei) to press this on the Catholics, by using hot button social issues as 'bait', and then pushing the need to protect Israel as the 'switch'. The Scofield Bible is not canonical, as it coincides with the Protestant King James Bible, so it's not taught by many priests. In other words they use these operatives to represent Catholicism, hoping to lobby other Catholics into following wars and Zionism.
