Today is the 70th anniversary of the imprisonment of Americans by our government...Japanese Americans.

If you are old enough, or Trekkie enough, you will recognize George Takei. His family was one of those who endured this injustice.

I pray this will NEVER happen again....but since when, do we learn from history?

italian americans we also imprisoned during WWII

a little known fact but italian american were also rounded up and tossed into prison camps during the war even though 250,000 americans of italian descent were drafted and sent to fight
