New Moon Over Nashville

My favorite band that will not compromise their "sound" to make it in Nashville. I think of the Ron Paul Movement when I hear this song because it relates. No compromise.

If you like RK, you'll probably like

Jason Isbell (formerly of the Drive by Truckers). The last verse in this song really speaks to the liberty movement.

If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animated contest of freedom — go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and

I understand how they feel about Nashville...

They Live here in Austin

I think they hail from Idaho and Oregon. They are a great band and we've been going to see them for years. I love them.

Great band !!

How are the Ron Paul 2012 efforts going there ?I lived in Austin for about five years(I'm a musician also),but live in my home state of SC now.I hope to make it to Kerrville next spring.

Thanks for sharing. Nice to see the Art forum getting some action.

They have a song

They have a song about the foreign wars "American Blood." Sums up all the B.S. in 4 minutes.

"He cries God Bless America

"He cries God Bless America but God Damn Uncle Sam!" Awesome. I've liked these guys for a while too. And Ryan Bingham. He's got some good ones about the wars, etc.
