I heard Santorum on Hannity yesterday
crowing about how good it looks for him in Washington state. Caucuses are hard to poll but I wonder what's making him so confident.
New Hampshire and Ecuador.
I'm becoming more and more convinced....
...that everytime we see an article like this, it's real purpose is meant to be a soft-kill to make Paul supporters back off on the phone-calls, the door-knocking, sign-waving, etc in that particular state.
If they make us think we're winning, they hope they'll shake off some of the effort of us actually pushing Paul over the top.
Does that make sense, or did I just confuse you? It's propaganda so we will lay off the supressing fire. After we let off the suppressing fire, the media will pipe as loud as they can about any candidate except Paul suddenly having a surge. And the idiots who blow with the wind will instead go and vote for that guy.
Don't let off the suppression..keep firing away, ignore the propaganda, and then we might actually win a state or two. Keep charging ahead!

I help in two counties here in Washington state. Albeit rural counties, just wanted to let everyone here know that I've been handing out Ron Paul info like crazy. Trying to do my part for the Constitution so hopefully we DO win!

This is the GOP primary, so most of them won't vote in this caucus. Besides, if any do, they'll be just as likely to vote Paul as Romney -- and they won't be voting Satanwarum, that's for darn sure.

Here! We're rockin and rolling with a squad of volunteers in every district. Turnout is top priority and everyone knows why we lost Nevada. It's not going to be a cake walk but if we can carry King, Pierce and Snohomish counties we can take the state. Wish us luck because we're already working our arses off!

I'm optimistic! (for the most part)
I am hoping since Ron Paul has been doing better and better in primaries and especially in caucuses, that he pulls a Washington victory days before super tuesday.
We now only have to worry that since the GOP wouldn't even let him have Maine, would they really let him take Washington RIGHT before super tuesday?
Let's hope the beating they have been given about fraud in Maine makes them think twice before pulling a fast one in Wash.

The best way to think about it...
...so as to be neither pessimistic nor complacent is to assume that the final tally will be Ron Paul in second by a single vote. Yours! Or that one last minute vote you snagged on the way to the precinct! Always assume that every little effort makes all the difference in the world.

I live in Olympia, the capital, which is notoriously liberal (and full of hippies). I was shocked at the level of success I've had going door to door with super brochures and talking to registered voters in my precinct. I see anti-war protests near the capital all of the time, and those people LOVED Ron Paul's foreign policy. Gold mine. Even more to my surprise, his other policies didn't discourage anyone (Planned Parenthood is BIG out here in Oly, as is gun control). Dr. Paul will take Washington easily, especially with this level of support.

Oh, they will. I've emphasized the caucus hard. We had a primary in '08, so I walk everyone through the process. I also plan on following up with all of them inside a week to go. I have no doubt Dr. Paul will win our county; both the straw vote and the delegates. Our county chair is a RP supporter.
