Any plans on making a video

Any plans on making a video of the after party for sale to the public? I'm sure i can find bits and pieces on you tube but would be willing to buy a professionally made full length one.

For those who didn't get to

For those who didn't get to see the livestream broadcast of the march yesterday, here are videos of the event from beginning to end.

Veterans March After Party

Here's a video I took last night of Aimee Allen motivating the troops at the march after party!

Beautiful

Beautiful

Historic

especially when considering the parallel between the Bonus Army March of 1932

during the Depression and their encampment
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bonus_Army#U.S._Army_intervention

as being similar to Occupy Wall Street 2011.

Interesting times!

ABC news had a blog post

ABC news had a blog post about it...they mentioned 'dozens of soldiers' and didn't really go into detail(making it out to be vague details of the event). Course anyone that sees the comments there will know the truth, it was hundreds, maybe even a thousand troops(500 is a safe estimate, remember there were also friends and family that made up the rest, so just 'crowd glancing' doesn't help tally the troops numbers).

Got Nilk?

I mean Link.

edit: found it I think. It says:
>Several hundred troops and their supporters attended the event.

http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/politics/2012/02/veterans-for-ro...

Did they change it?

Yes, they changed it.

At the bottom it now says:
***UPDATE: A previous version of this blog post incorrectly listed the number of attendees at the event. ABC News regrets the error.

Well, that's good, but for

Well, that's good, but for the most part, I think it's too late. Nobody other than 'us' will give the article a second look over, and those that might actually be 'informed' by this will not go digging to find it(I'm certain it's drifting to the bottom of the 'web-relevance' as we speak). These news groups make mistakes like this all the time...either they're incompetent or have an agenda(or both). I think ABC is more along the lines of incompetent than 'having an Agenda' like Fox and CNN do.

Shockingly....

...this was briefly covered on FOX today, towards the end of "Special Report." They mentioned that this was a demonstration by U.S. soldiers for Ron Paul, against the Obama administration's foreign policy (of course they didn't mention that the problem is older than Obama, big surprise), and in honor of lives lost in the wars. They mentioned how the troops turned their back on the WH and held a salute, etc.

...I was quite shocked and delighted to see it on prime time on Fox. This was really well organized (guess that's what happens when soldiers organize things), bravo to those who participated!

Have a link

To that Fox clip?:)

It is only about war and dollars

Hey everyone,

Please take the time to read and comprehend this blog story. It pretty much nails it very well on the head for all to understand.

Pass it on to the war mongers in your family and ask them, are you really ready to give it all up for a little CNN TV warcrimes time? Do you want a future, or not?

.

Is it about the troops any more?

America's permanent wars have turned a corner: it's drone, special ops & assassinations now, not large land armies.

Let us hope that this all stops one way or another. Please, God...

Troops are still dying, veteran suicides are still

happening and will continue for many years after this. But if the protest could have counted civilians of all coutries who have been killed by this empire, the silent salute would have seemed endless.

Just for the people of Iraq

if the numbers are accurate at 1,000,000 give or take, the honorable men and women who participated today would have held their salute for just under 12 days. : (

Just got back

I just walked in the door from being at the march today....and yes it was truly an amazing experience. Hats off to Kokesh and the rest of the team for pulling this off. I was floored by how many people were there. Following the troops to the white house was the most inspirational 10 or fifteen minutes of my life. On-lookers marveled, you could see the awe and envy in the eyes of foreign tourists, truckers and cab drivers honking and clapping in support while they were stuck in traffic, because of us.

Watching those brave men and women do an about face to the commander in chief, choosing to support and defend their fallen brethren and the cause of liberty was bone chilling and I don't know if I will ever see anything like it ever again. They marched in perfect formation from the Washington monument to the north lawn of the white house, then held a salute for 8 minutes, one second for every soldier who has committed suicide under Obama and stood at ease with head bowed for 21 minutes in remembrance of every soldier who's died under Obama. Then in perfect unity, they marched back to the monument stopping at the bottom of the hill, then "CHARGE". It was truly awesome to see a 1000 or so soldiers darting up a hill, in unity....for the good Dr.

All in all, I'd say there were about 2000 of us there...no joke.

Liberty or Death

bparker...

wish I had multiple vote-up power, would give you about +20 for this post... thanks, I am now officially inspired.

Hope they make a good documentary of this event.

'Cause there's a monster on the loose

Outstanding job

Perhaps the greatest service they have done. Well done.

My mind has been blown today.

My mind has been blown today. I never understood how anyone could join the military swear to defend the US and then follow orders to invade Iraq. How could these guys invade another land, kill innocents, risk their own lives all for a corrupt admistration and a completely fabricated story. The wars we have to fight is against the tyranny of the central banks and institutions that limit our freedoms.
I'm glad I was so wrong about the military and it's service men and women...

I only wonder, what will you guys do if the US starts another war with Iran?

END THE FED!!!

Watching all those troops yelling END THE FED is giving me chills. Hell yea!!!

I'll bet it gave the bankers chills too...

Thanks for the link:)

Just made the news

It was on Fox 6:00 even said they turned their backs on the white house and saluted 1 second for every solder killed since Obama took office, Only a 15 second segment for now.

I love it!

Wish I could have seen that.

It was an incredible day

I got nothing done at work today.

I came back to look at this after being gone for . . .

this is very amazing.

Thank you, everyone who participated--

Thank you--
