Could his motive be to help promote his latest endevour, Sovereign man made Island nations. Sounds atractive to Libertarians but the financing is DEBT, and debt is the slave control mechanism. I am very concerned about this guys money and motives.

Peter Thiel is by a wide margin the single largest donor to the Ron Paul Revolution, having donated $2.6 million in the span of just a few months. The seeming lack of appreciation for that in some quarters is rather shocking.

I don't buy into this idea that Bilderberg is a homogenous group of people with the same agenda. Even if you assume the agenda of most in the group is X on any given subject, that doesn't justify assuming that everyone in the group shares agenda X.

If you were a wealthy and influential individual with strong libertarians views and you had the opportunity to go to the Bilderberg meetings, would you refuse on grounds that you think they support an agenda you disagree with, or would you take the opportunity to attend, even get involved on their steering committee, and try to influence the group in your direction?

I'm not saying that's what Thiel is doing, I just make that argument to point out the absurdity of assuming the Bilderberg group and everyone who participates in it is pure evil. And I think people like YOU would be much more productive in educating others if you tried to inform and spread awareness of hidden power structures like Bilderberg without jumping to extremes about them being all evil and NWO.

People who understand that centralizing power is an inherently bad thing and that absolute power corrupts absolutely, will understand the dangers of things like the Bilderberg group. But demonizing anyone who participates in it is not the right approach. You could use that same logic to say Ron Paul must be an evil NWO'er for wanting to be in the corrupt and central-power group known as the House of Representatives...

Organized funded and controled by Rothschild whith a stated agenda of control and enslavement of humanity, primarly through false debt. There are not one good human that would support this group or their agends. Google Georgia Guide Stones pretty good evidence of the agenda. Bilderberg is bad, very bad.

thiel has a controversial mind-set. you cannot put him into one category. i'm always glad about people like that.

i'm also glad about the level of awareness that we have here. regarding donations with suspicion is intellectual luxury compared to other political camps.

Exactly... If I was very successful and created something that was very influential (PayPal) I would DEFINITELY attend every Bilderberg meeting just to see and hear what they are saying.

It's idiotic for us to think that everybody who attends the billionaire convention (Bilderberg meetings) is trying to hurt us.

What's wrong with LibertySuperpac? Where is the whole story here. Some of the comments are heart warming, but some are way over the top. Dr. Paul needs funds badly and these are the comments I read. What's going on here? Where is the whole story?

... that's plausible. the difference is though, that pacs hardly earn money and the success of one pac in contributing to the overall success of RP is not measurable. so the market doesn't do it here. but i begin to have a vague idea of why they start additional pacs...

Thanks, I didn't know! I thought the chairman ran the show. I still trust that with Tom Woods there, nothing will go awry. He'll never do anything to do harm to Ron Paul or RP's message...unlike Bob Barr!

Peter Thiel a Bilderberger?

Webster Tarpley put out a warning Saturday that Peter Thiel is not only a member of Bilderberg, he is a member of the Bilderberg steering committee. If this is true, there are 2 possibilities. The more likely by far is that this Endorse Liberty SuperPAC is an attempt to buy out the liberty movement and hijack it like they did the Tea Party. I believe they have already done this to the Libertarian party, nominating war mongers like Bob Barr and Wayne Root in 2008. Don't always assume the man who comes at you with candy and asks you to get in his van has good intentions. The less likely possibility is that Thiel is gaming the Bilderbergers and truly does support Ron Paul, but I don't think the Bilderbergers would tolerate that. It's a group of former Nazis, and they don't play nice.
