Price of Gas Is Not Going Up
At the grocery store I relate to shoppers and clerks that the price
of food is not going up. "That's right the dollar is falling."
Hand them an RP palm card.
"The price of gas is not going up the dollar is going down."
Everyone seems to agree as if they know whats going on. Then I hand them a "Hope for America" card. Go someplace else repeat process.

Lip Service to the Constitution
The shining moment was when he called out Huckabee and Thompson who had just blown hot air about their love for the Declaration and Constitution as the illustration of their political principles. I had to turn off the TV when Huckabee started quoting the Declaration. The hypocrisy almost made me physically ill. He shamelessly pandered to evangelicals in Iowa and now to constitutionalists in NH? Thank God Dr. Paul slammed him for it.
It's Ron Paul or death!
Ron Paul's message is about economics, a more reasonable foreign policy with respect for the sovereignty of all nations, fair trade, personal freedom, small government, the return to a constitutional government, it's about shifting the power back to the states.
Everybody else's message, reps and dems, is status quo, complete ignorance of the economy, strong federal government, interventionist and costly foreign policy, disregard to the constitution, pro-corporate policies, basically staying the course.
The only one with a detailed plan on what to do and how to do it is Ron Paul and he is the ONLY ONE with a complete understanding of economic principles.
My expectation about the freer state in the union, New Hampshire, where I expect people to be much more well informed than any other state, is an enormous support for Ron Paul, PARTICULARLY after the back to back GOP and DEM debates.
If the majority of the people in NH do not give their support to Ron Paul in a significant percentage, and by that I mean 1st or 2nd place, I sincerely do not expect Ron Paul to win the nomination and my conclusion will be that this country is not ready to save itself and will face a very difficult future because people will have CHOSEN to remain ignorant. Self -imposed Ignorance and freedom don't go together, EVER!

All they mentioned were the issues on Facebook. They REFUSE to report the obvious: RP, the winner and champion!

With all of the people attacking each other he came out looking great. ECONOMY ECONOMY ECONOMY. That is where he looks golden! When he said that against gold oil hasn't gone up. That was priceless. Inflation is so bad right now and he is the only one talking about it. This to me is his biggest asset. I about have my democrat mom convinced to go vote for Ron Paul basically because of this issue. She to my knowledge has never voted in a primary.

I totally agree with you also about the gold/oil prices. That was educational for me too. Didn't know that at all.
I didn't see the first half, but I love it when Dr. Paul lays back and is a gentleman while everyone else is acting like "lens hogs." Didn't see them laugh, but I also love it when he totally ignors them and just proceeds unrattled. He is unflappable.

Facebook shut down RP discussion!
There was still discussions going on about Ron Paul and his issues with great interest and all of a sudden it just shut down. Weird!
BTW, he was the ONLY candidate anyone on facebook was even discussing.

Well, that word had me for a loop. I am 51 and very Anglo so I had to know what the guy meant when he said that Ron Paul was shiznit on Facebook. So, I looked up the word. It means that he loved him! That was great.
I also liked the post from the gay guy who loved Ron Paul for his stands on things and believed he would vote for him even though he is a democrat.

This was the most fair debate format so far, still abc is part of the main stream, not friendly to Ron Paul.

Did anyone notice the group hug?
I thought it was strange how everyone seemed to "pair" up, almost like there was a collaboration of sorts. However, even though Ron Paul was first in the lineup from where the Dems came in, he was the last to be greeted and then almost perfunctorily. It also made me mad how much Dr. Paul was ignored in the post-debate conversation, as well as not having someone represent his "camp", and don't get me started on the facebook girl! Dr. Paul ruled in all of the polls online and had the ONLY conversation going with much participation.

It was like high school. It hit me so hard. If you aren't in their CLUB (CFR.org) then you just don't count. AND THEN, when you made great answers, they don't remind people of anything you even said at the end, so they will forget you were even there. Just ignored his presence. I wish DK all the luck in the world with his FCC complaint and I wish US all the luck in the world to keep pounding. The world can surely see they are ignoring him, but think it is because everyone thinks he SHOULD be ignored, as a crackpot. When people keep "snide remarking" you, it is so hard to be taken seriously..GOSH I HATE THIS!!

I noticed it too. It was as if the "frontrunners" were paired up for the close-up camera shots....it really was rude. I'm sure the hotshots were groomed for it before they came out on the stage.
Questions were perfect for Ron Paul
You couldn't ask for better questions to bring up the best in Ron Paul and show the differences especially starting off with foreign policy.
It was also good that most of the time Ron Paul got to go last or next to last. I think it's always good to get the last word.
I'm disappointed that he didn't bring up the issue of anchor babies and wanting to amend the 14th amendment.
It was sad that the before and after commentary totally ignored the mention of Ron Paul or Fred Thompson. They didn't show their poll results along with the top four and they didn't have anyone covering either of them in the spin room commentary.
Ron Paul stuck out the most throughout the debate and they act like he didn't exist and wasn't even there.
His performance tonight will have to give him a big boost. I'm sure many people will notice his absense tomorrow on Fox.

Well, its worth talking about. The citizenship clause of the 14th amendment was never intended to give automatic citizenship to children of illegal aliens. All one needs to do is look back at comments made by senator Jacob Howard, one of the authors of the amendment, and you can see the courts have been misinterpreting this amendment for a long time now, due to them twisting the meaning of "and subject to the jurisdiction thereof".
