Conservative Christian Leader Critiques the Ron Paul Movement

Doug Wilson is a Reformed Presbyterian minister in Moscow Idaho. He has published many books, stands on the theology of the Reformation, and offers a lot of helpful critique of religion, culture, and politics.

I posted a critical, ad hominizing comment on one of Doug Wilson's previous blog posts. His rationale for conservatism has consistently pointed to the stances and policies of Ron Paul, and I cannot understand why he likes Rick Santorum so much.

Well, he has responded. And he has responded well. He critiques the Paulbots, on a lot of good grounds. This is right, and well deserved on my part. However, I still cannot understand why he stands with Rick Santorum. It confuses me.
