You Know What's Really Great?
It's in the market now. Electric cars. The problem is it can only run 120 miles at one charge and runs at top speed of at least 70 MPH. If you are only going to the mall, work, take the kids to school, soccer game, etc. this should be good enough. If it can be developed further to run coast to coast at a single charge with solar panel roof to maintain battery charge efficiently, the oil magnates can keep their stinking, polluting oil.

French Inventer
I saw example of several different cars here, even Tesla(look into him) and Stanly Myer(Look into him) but I think I'll talk about Guy Negre a French inventor who developed the MDI air car that runs on compressed air and can reach speeds equal to regular cars and has no MPG as we know them because it runs on air but a hybrid gas or biofuel/air model can get 600MPG from one figure I've seen. Check out this car.

I have personally tuned customers VW (on the side, not at the dealership) TDI's (diesels) to get 100+ mpg....with NO performance loss,actually around 70 mpg there is a seat of the pants gain ...I imagine with a lil more tweaking 150 would be possible as the engines are now but with that performance would decrease. With better (atomization) injectors power would stay level.

Big Oil companies will not allow for this as they will loose too much money, they pay off Govt officials to keep oil independence from happening..:( But we all know this..

And Honda has a production car they have had since 2004 that gets 92 mpg but they won't sell it here. There is a version they are selling in the UK however they have it computer controlled to get around 52mpg.

a long time ago ... many times many ways. As a master technician and car/engine nut I can tell you alternate fuel and High mpg cars have been around WAY before hybrids. Why don't you see them .... theres no money in it.

the Yahoo article of the researcher who just about 6 mo ago ....found a way to "burn" water
of course there is always the mythical 100/200 mpg carbeurator.... myth or just suppressed? I personally had a 72 Monte Carlo with a 406 stroker that got 40mpg ...of course I re-jetted the carb along with some other things ( =P ) . 25% loss in power made it drive like the 350 it started out as.
LOL.... this whole subject is an entirely different rabbit whole ... funny how it is intertwined with this election ....... i never would a' thunk it ...

youll notice your car is not running brown gas, right? because it doesnt work. of course it takes more energy to make hydrogen than you can get back out of it. its called electrolysis and brown gas is just a mixture of hydrogen with a few other gasses blended in. Ive studied this stuff my whole life - this man (and the hundreds of others just like him) are scams.

There are already cars in Europe and Asia that get over 100mpg using Hybrid technology. What about electric cars? Stanley Meyers produced a car that ran off of tap water before his mysterious death after having lunch with NATO officials. What planet dose this guy live on. Obviously not very familiar with technology.
