Congress Gives States the Go-Ahead to Drug Test for Unemployment Benefits (and Stick Taxpayers With the Bill)

"But while Democrats and Republicans quibbled over how many jobless workers would be forced to endure the intrusive and humiliating ritual, the Drug Policy Alliance was clear and concise in its opposition to the move.

"This policy is a terrible one-two punch to the gut for thousands of struggling Americans," said Bill Piper, the group's national affairs director. "Congress has paired a generous taxpayer subsidy for corporations that drug test with a slap in the face for those struggling to find work, feed their families and keep their homes. The American people have a right to be upset over being forced to subsidize the violation of their civil liberties, when they try to access a program that they pay for with every paycheck. Drug testing is expensive and ineffective, and distracts from evidence-based policies that actually reduce the problems associated with drug use and misuse."

You go pee in a cup. We don't work for you -- you work for us. Well your supposed to work for us but that hasn't panned out.

Anyway, Congress your the one that ran up 15 TRILLION DOLLARS in DEBT and while we are at it let's drug test the Federal Reserve who gave out 16 TRILLION DOLLARS in secret. Then we are going to drug test the recipients of the 16 TRILLION DOLLARS. This will all be done on public television so we can humiliate you - because you people have no shame.

Drug war = slave labor

They flood neighborhoods with drug dealers (protected by the state), then arrest people with drugs. Once in jail, they have to work or will be beat up, tortured, raped, killed, etc...not to mention have longer sentences.

The drug war is really a way to suppress minority's population down and create slave labor.

And with more private prisons being created, this problem will only get worse.

They got generations hooked on a welfare lifestyle for a reason...and they are about to escalate the monetization of this plan.

If you are a minority and on welfare, you had better get out of the welfare system fast. Cuz, if they "test" you, you'll likely be positive for drugs even if you don't take them. Then you'll be whisked away to perform slave labor...or worse, sent to a mental health facility where you'll be a lab rat for Big Pharm and Big Shrink for the rest of your life.

Unemployment is an insurance policy paid for out of the checks of the people who are working. To drug test people who are unemployed would be like drug testing the elderly people on Social Security which is also a paid into insurance program. So WHY don't they drug test the individuals that receive welfare, food stamps, free housing and disability??

I predicted this a long time ago. The Federal government wants the unemployment numbers down and the only way they can do that is to kick people out of the program or cut out funds. The individuals who are cut off are magically no longer unemployed and the unemployment rate goes down and the economy is fantastic!!

This is how Marxism works....you destroy the currency, destroy the jobs and make people dependent on government. The next step is to cut off at the knees, the individuals that are receiving unemployment because they are the least likely to revolt. Then you cut off the people on Social Security, the elderly and the disabled, because they are the least likely to revolt. The Congress and the President will have cut SS taxes by 2% for two years which will deplete the SS fund drastically. They call this cutting taxes but in actuality they are cutting off the elderly's income instead of cutting Federal taxes which is what they should do.

What I'm really curious to see is how they cut off they people on welfare, subsidized housing and foodstanps. Most of these individuals are younger and won't take this lying down. When the Federal Reserve can hand out trillions and trillions of dollars to big banks, here and abroad and the Federal Government spend us into destruction, will the big bankers, Wallstreet and the crony Capitalists give the trillions back to our children? When pigs fly.....
