Started the Tea Party!
Submitted by RC Liberty on Tue, 02/21/2012 - 12:15Santorum's campaign responded to Dr. Paul's new ad: "for all of Ron Paul's blustering about conservatism, the bottom line is that he's been in Congress for decades and has not had a single accomplishment to forward the cause of conservatism. Not one."
Ron Paul campaign's response should be "Yes, Ron Paul didn't help pass or vote for hardly any of the legislation over the past decades that have led to Congress's 9% approval rating. However, his steadfast support for the Constitution and Liberty spurred a new American Revolution known as the Tea Party."

Ron Paul is the Godfather of the Tea Party Movement

Is it me or is there anyone else out there who is fed up.......
with these so called "Tea Party" leaders Nationally. One in particular a woman down south somewhere who has been commenting on her personal disdain for all of the GOP nominees. She will state none of them want to cut any spending, they do not want to address the National Debt, The problems with the ongoing wars, etc. and yet will not even mention Ron Pauls name. I am so disgusted with these people and this woman in particular (cannot recall her name, unfortunately), I cannot see straight she and the other "so-called" leaders of the Tea Party are absolutely disgusting individuals-- hipocracy at its finest! They ARE NOT TEA PARTY members. First of all the Tea Party originated on December 16th 2007, the day we raised $6 Million Dollars for Dr. Paul anniversary of the Boston Tea Party, not in the year of 2010 as claimed by these individuals who hijacked our original Tea party. When I say individuals, I'm referring to Neo Cons of course. Am I the only one who is extremely bothered by these hijackers of what originally was our party. I donated $250 that day, so I am very, very bothered by these people. I can only pray they will eventually wither away and no longer be heard. To silence them permanently is the ultimate punishment for their hypocritical behavior. To absolutely steal one's ideology and not offer he or she any credit whatsover for those very ideas is the most aggregious theft one could possible engage in and to do it without any recognizable guilt is incomprehensible. God help us.
Yes, Ron Paul has been thwarted in many of his efforts
to advance the cause of conservatism.
Meet the Thwarters:
Rick Santorum - raised debt ceiling, voted for Medicare Part D, No Child Left Behind, etc.
Newt Gingrich - established federal Dept. of Education, believes FDR was our greatest President, supported bank bailouts, wants to spend taxpayer money to colonize the moon.
Ron Paul couldn't dig us out of the hole alone, but he didn't make it any deeper.
