Our Ron Paul Dallas 2012 group rocked Dallas!!!
We had an sweet old school fire truck lead the way, followed by a Revolutionary man shackled in chains being paraded around by a Fed Reserve agent.
Lady Libery on top of the float, shackled and guarded by five Feds dressed to the part, five depts on the chopping block...(Energy, Education, Housing and Urban Development, Commerce and Interior), guarding her escape.
Supporters on top of the float throwing beads. Supporters walking next to the float passing out flyers. 800+ super brochures passed out!
Music was thumping, with Ron Paul themed songs.
We exposed thousands to Ron Paul and hopefully converted some of them to vote for the good doctor!
Our Ron Paul Dallas 2012 group worked real hard so give us a thumbs up for liberty!!!

the parade was truly a success and i really don't think that either of the videos above that i saw (which were both very good by the way!) do reality justice - and by THAT i mean that the music that was used by the dj on the float was damn near perfect and at times i thought that the whole block was just going to erupt into a party right there. beastie boys, cyprus hill......it was good.
i'm telling you right now that the latino vote for paul based on my experience on sunday in oak cliff is at least 60%. i would say that we got at LEAST 35 to 40% of the entire parade onlooker vote.
yes there were a few middle fingers from a drunk guy and yes there were dems out there who don't even know who ron is yet, but there was nothing thrown, no fights, no one got arrested (hint ows, you might learn something from us), and everyone had a great time!

So sad to see crowds who you know have not looked him up at all booing him. I honestly cannot imagine anyone who has studied Ron Paul for themselves that would have that response. Even if they didn't want him as president they would be silently respectful if they had studied him and his work for us at all.
