Here is the movie that could catapult Ron Paul! March 27!

We need Ron Paul at the premier, as patriots will already be there. It is a gift event opportunity! If RP linked up with this it would strip santorum's false conservatism away.

Kirk Cameron
Anything by this guy is extremely suspect. He's one of the least critically thoughtful people in media - and that's saying something.

Kirk said America is the richest fre-est nation on earth.
Wrong.
Asian countries are the richest... sort of... and is in many ways more free than America.

There is limited info on this movie,
however, the Evangelical homeschoolers are pushing it. That always makes me uneasy. The same Evangelicals that want to kill Muslims.
Not so fast
Not so fast.
I am an evangelical homsechooler. I support Ron Paul. I don't want to kill Muslims. But you are right, there are some in 'this' community that do. I can even name names.
On the other hand, I have friends that support Ron Paul, are evangelicals, and homeschoolers, that are watching the movie as we speak. I will get their take on it and let the forum know where it is really coming from.

I vote it up

I don't think this will be a good idea for Dr. Paul to follow-through on. Down in the comments, someone posted a part 1 of a radio interview about this movie and the Forefathers monument; after I listened to that I did a search for part 2 of the interview. In the second part, one of the people involved with this movie said, if people don't want to follow the Ten Commandments then government needs to step in and that is why we have all of these rules and regulations. Basically he stated that liberty cannot be achieved if one doesn't follow the Ten Commandments. It also appeared, to me at least, that he was saying that government should step in to govern ones life because they are not following the Ten Commandments.
If this is what they truly believe then I can only assume that this is the kind of ideology which is pervasive throughout the movie; and if that is the case, then having Dr. Paul associated with this movie will certainly cost him supporters.
I wonder if they mention in the movie how the Pilgrims were trying to escape religious persecution at the time, but several generations later the Puritans operated their own religious persecution, not only of the "witches" in the 1690's but also of Catholics and Protestants, and other derivations of Christianity. The New England colonies became that which the forefathers were trying to escape in England; so apparently the message of the Pilgrims was lost early on in New England.
Agreed
Pastor Chuck Baldwin says; he'd rather have a non Christian president who follows the constitution than a Christian one who does not. As a Christian, it took me a while to wrap my brain around that libertarian statement. It is true. All man-made authority must be chained down with the constitution or else individual freedom and liberty are sacrificed.
authority and law should be used to protect our God given freedom and prevent the injury of others.
The golden rule should be our governing guideline.
A patriot must always be prepared to defend his country from his government.
Actually if your a Christain
you must follow the law and Constitution unless it is against the word of God.
Actually
If you're an English speaker, you must learn the difference between "your" and "you're."
Agreed...
but that was kinda mean.

I don't know...
It's never wrong to make an attempt to help a nation find its moral compass, but if he tries to make a case for a Christian foundation in government, he has not read Apollyon Rising 2012, or many other well documented proofs that way too much of this countries roots are planted deep in Masonic occult. From architecture, paintings and engraved images to the symbolism on our money and the oaths and rituals and spells of innumerable politicians and presidents...There is a satanic drive to bring about the Evil new -world -order described in the Revelation to John. Have you ever Googled " New world Order"? The plan has been in place since, well, the beginning of time. The role of man to assist the dark side is unabashedly well documented since the birth of this country.
My hunch is that Kirk and his money are in a happy place that would prefer not to venture far enough down the rabbit hole to get at the really nasty roots ( spirits) that are presiding over this country. I think he will preach to a choir that loves to feel the righteous indignation of it all but revealing truth that will kick some dark spirit ass....? Be still my heart...
Let's just pray that he ( we all ) will get there, and soon!

but if you read
some of our founders letters you will find that they are very Christian in nature and they spoke very highly of the bible!!!
No question! The Light and the Glory; Peter Marshall
But that knowledge does little to expose the monsters that want to bring on the reign of the Antichrist , the new world order and rule with iron fist.
My point is: We have some heavy duty spiritual warfare to do with these satanic tyrannts and I just kinda doubt this movie is going to make much of a dent in the demons that have been setting up shop for 200+ years in this country. I'm sure, however, it willl be some light for this present darkness.

I am definitely intrigued. As a Christian who shares his faith, we will see if he gets it right about our country. I will definitely be checking this out.
Looks Good
I would bet Kirk is a True Christian Libertarian. Who knows? So many Christian leaders have turned coats on the cause of Christ in favor of their war minded republican membership status.

Careful
this could be something for Santorum ... Cameron strikes me as a potential Santorum supporter ....
possible good stuff in this flick still ... but I could see Santorum getting hooked up with this somehow ....
Exactly why RP needs to get there first.
Santorum is Catholic so don't be surprise if Kirk is an RP man.
Kirk Cameron is...
most likely not a RP supporter as he was hired to star in those movies based on the "Left Behind" books by Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins. LaHaye and Jenkins are premillenial dispensationalists who would never support Ron Paul because of his foreign policy views.

As a Postmilleniel Calvinist who supports Ron Paul (there are plenty more where I come from), I couldn't agree more. But consider the fact that Kirk Cameron has recently leaned away from dispensationalism. Look into it. There is hope for him. Not that I hate dispensationalists or anything.

Radio interview
Lots of references to liberty in this video. He uses the forefather monument as a reminder of what we shouldn't forget. Morality, law, education and liberty, is what he is saying how you build a nation. Liberty man is part of the statue and he defeated tyranny. Sounds like he would make a great super hero..LLLiberty Man.

it talks more about the staute. They mentions it tells us what kind of currency with just weights and measure, so know inflation.

Kirk Cameron is too much of a religious nut bag
He cannot be taken seriously. He is a christian dominionist and wants theocracy.
In no way should Ron Paul supporters embrace this loon.
No train to Stockholm.
Not so fast...
Hi there LukeO,
I just wanted to say not so fast! I myself am a born-again Christian, homeschooling dad, and learned my evangelism style from Kirk Cameron, Ray Comfort, and Todd Friel (see my blog at www.jasarah.blogspot.com). I also have been a Ron Paul supporter since 2007, so try to be more tolerant of Christians and their ideas, because it is true that there was a strong respect for the Scriptures at the founding of our country.
Remember, Liberty brings people together, and we all may support Ron Paul for many varying reasons, but the foundational principles are Freedom and our Constitution. We don't know what this movie is going to have as a message, I assume it will be a strong Christian one, but we all have different ideas and he is bringing his to the table, so wait and see what he has to say. Thanks!
For Liberty,
Jason
