How about we split the acttive topics into news, and take action categories?

News is great, but I don't like news overtaking things that have to get done. I know there is an off topic section, but even I am guilty of not posting things in the off topic section when they should be. We all like to prove our worth around here by posting the latest info and take action type of topics, and we like to post and see where it goes, for freedom, but also to be a part of it all. I say we split the active forum topics into 2 categories, news and take action categories. News will be like, Santorum calls Ron Paul crazy, take action would be like The Super Bomb is 44% complete in Idaho. I love the news you all post, it keeps the site interesting, and I appreciate it. If it was all we need to do this or that, it would get old, but we need action topics to remain in the spotlight if we are going to gain in what we are all shooting for, freedom. News should never land in the top recent topics unless it is something that we can take action on, if it is Rick Santorum says Ron Paul is crazy, it should never land at the top in top recent topics. We need to police ourselves on this if it can't be done on the site. Our country is at stake and we cannot become the television for eachother. Please elaborate on this in ways we can make sure important things we post on Dailypaul don't fall through the cracks!!!
