NewsiT.net Coverage of the March - Great Story and Great Way to Help End the Corporate MSM!

More than 2, 000 veterans, active-duty military personnel and their families and friends rallied under the Washington Monument on President’s Day and then marched to the White House, where they symbolically turned their backs on President Obama in remembrance of the troops who have died in combat under his watch.

The rally and march on Monday was in support of Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul, who has garnered significant backing from U.S. military personnel because of his opposition to U.S. peace-keeping actions overseas. Paul supports the use of military force only when absolutely necessary.

About 15 speakers addressed the crowd, which stretched across the lawn to the base of the Monument under brilliant blue skies. Many participants held handmade signs protesting U.S. military actions and noting the effect of war on military personnel. Speakers included rally organizer Adam Kokesh, a former Marine; several other former or active-duty servicemen and women; and Karen Kwiatkowski, a retired U.S. Air Force lieutenant colonel who is running for the Republican nomination for Congress from Virginia’s 6th District.

Some of the attendees came from as far away as Texas and Alaska, although many were from surrounding states.

Thank you

As the media liaison for this event I obviously have to take some of the heat for dropping the ball on this, I should have done a better job of getting the information to all the independent film crews and probably was too focused on making sure any MSM was there - I'm learning as I go and will be much better prepared for Tampa and the march on the RNC!

What We Need is a "Vote of No Confidence in Mainstream Media"

movement nationwide, maybe worldwide. Maybe they would clean up their act but I doubt it. This Internet news, newsiT.net is a start. Thanks for the nice write up Zak including your count of participates. ( :

Canada thanks US and Canadian Vets

Thanks for fighting for freedom, although your active duty may have had less to do with freedom than it does for the benefit of the MIC. Nevertheless, you put your lives on the line and now are backing it up in an equally brave manner.

God Bless You All; get well, stay well and please keep fighting for a free world.

Love ya.

Thanx,

Jason
