Gallup: Romney 1st, Paul 2nd Among Young Voters

(CNSNews.com) - Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney leads the Republican field among younger voters with Rep. Ron Paul of Texas now in second place with that group, according to the Gallup tracking poll for the week of Feb. 13-19.

Among registered Republican voters and Republican-leaning independents in the 18-34 age bracket, Romney had 33 percent, Paul had 26 percent, former Sen. Rick Santorum had 20 percent and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich had 11 percent.

Santorum led among older voters. Among those in the 35-54 age bracket, Santorum led with 37 percent, followed by Romney with 26 percent, Gingrich with 15 percent, and Paul with 8 percent.
