Romney Running Out of Donors!

Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney is drawing a disproportionately high amount of campaign funds from people who have given him the legal maximum, weakening his ability to raise money from such proven donors as the GOP nomination fight drags on.
Far more than his three rivals, Romney has tapped these large donors to build his campaign fund. To date, about two-thirds of his money has come from donors who have given him $2,500, the legal limit for a primary campaign, according to the Campaign Finance
The disparity in tapping individual donors presents an opening for Romney's competitors as the campaign winds toward a crucial pair of primaries next week in Michigan and Arizona and Super Tuesday on March 6. As they seek donations, the others are better positioned to ask for more money from people who have given before but haven't hit the limit.

Donating to Mitt is like paying taxes
Why bother sending money to Mitt when the bankers are just going to spend the money anyway? Mitt's top contributors is "Who's who" list of bailed out banks and government contractors. No need to burn your own money by tossing it onto a bonfire.

Do you know where we can find it for all of the candidates. I'd like to know how many total donors each candidate has brought in, and what the average donation is for each candidate.
Check out these charts
These charts make it really obvious. Mitt has high dollar donors and very few small donors, Ron is the opposite, with overwhelming majority of small donors. To me that says poor and working people support Ron, while rich fat cats support Romney. I think that's an accurate picture of who will benefit from each candidates policies also.

Agreed. I would also say it shows how Mitt has figuratively already "busted his nut" when it comes to donations to the campaign.
Good Place To Start
Here is a link to a good place to start. It has a nice search feature where you can sort by donation amount and other things. The left menu bar also has other options/information. You might need to go other places to get all information, but this should be a very good place to start. I havent used it myself, but let me know how it works for you.
