HA! The Poll is GONE!

I posted this this morning @ 6:45 AM and upon my return @ 2:30 PM decided to check and see the poll results... POOF! Gone! Replaced with another poll! Good Job everybody! I knew I could depend upon the Freedom community to voice their opinion!

No

Clear enough?

Commerce with all nations, alliance with none.--Thomas Jefferson

See if you can make sense of this.

IF I was a congressman, I would vote no. If I was NOT a congressman, and just a regular Joe Schmo. I would vote NO.

IF they went and invaded and OCCUPIED Iran. I would GO. I would provide and train troops to have a very safe helicopter so they can do their mission. YES I SUPPORT the troops. Work hand and hand with them. I provide a service, I do a good job.

My retribution, is taking 100+k from the government coffers. Because I can do a lot more with that 100k than they can. I will help Bankrupt the Corporation as vengence for their warmongering Neocon ways. I have done this in Afghanistan, Iraq, Germany, and next stop Iran.

I HATE, the unconstitutional wars, and BANKRUPTING the US CORP I think is the only way to Control ALT DELETE this crap that is going on.

I recommend any and ALL OF YOU to go and get the HIGHEST paid job that you can in the Gov't. We need Insiders there, to help change this warmongering ways.

Most of you guys probably can't grasp that logic.

Freedom may be worth searching for.

Remember, Dont battle the govt with guns(ALONE), Beat them in court, in state legislature, or hire Ron Paul for president.

I Hear You!

and I see your point...

"Last resort" for what?

I must be missing something because "last resort" did nothing to change my opinion.

Either you are reading too much into the question or I am missing the point.

Seriously, please help me understand your position. Are we not on the same page?

That "last resort" phrase makes the question meaningless.

How many of those who answered "No" would support military action against Iran as a "first resort?"
Would you support military action against Iran if it meant a spike in gasoline prices?
Would you support military action against Iran if it meant no social security pension check next month?
Would you support military action against Iran if it meant you personally would be deployed to the battlefield?
Would you support military action against Iran if your kids were drafted to fight it?
Would you support military action against Iran if it meant ten years of military occupation and guerrilla wars?
Would you support military action against Iran if you had to contribute six month's pay to finance it?

Wow! Wonderful, 86% So Far Say NO to WAR, Take Time to vote!

"Last resort" ...

... for what? Sure, if Iran actively attacks us unprovoked, yes I'd support military action. But if there's no diplomacy going on, than military action is not being a "last resort."

I voted "not sure" since I can't tell from the question what it's really asking. Yes, I'd LOVE for military action to be a last resort, and if it is YES I support it. But my definition of "last resort" may be significantly different from the questioner's meaning of "last resort," in part because what I consider a just cause for military action may be very different from the questioner's belief in a just cause.

Deceptive Poll

It says "as a last resort"

It should be simply

"Do you support military action against Iran?"

The question as stated: I would vote yes. However since "last resort" translates to "as soon as we can come up with a believable excuse" - I voted no.

We're not pacifists, we're constitutionalists who believe in non-intervention which means we don't get involved in another country's business of making war.

Would you support military action as a last resort against Iran?

That sure is a loaded question!

Either way you answer it, the results could be reported as supporting military action now.

yes

that is a loaded question.

Notice also the "military action" used pretty much everywhere instead of the word "war".

This time my vote was counted. Keep up the momentum.

to vote. We have over taken their vote now!!! They should start looking for another job.

A.Hansen

It Sure Did Turn Around! It is not a good question so my reply

was No based on the situation now. The poll is now 86% No. Yeah, Americans do not want war!

A.Hansen

77%

say no.

Government Might stage a Terrorist Attack

If you thought the government had any involvement with 9/11 that is nothing compared to what will happen soon. The government will stage an attack to blame the Iranians to justify going to war.

I'm starting to get really fed up with the BS, especially when the government doesn't give 2 shits about the average American. Demand the people in congress send their kids to die in Iran, would love to hear their reasons as to why their kids are not eligible.

Jinc's picture

nah.

We dont know what the truth is. Would we even know the truth if we heard it after all the lies they've told us? If the truth was actually that they ARE a few months from developing a nuke, and the truth WAS actually that they intended to lob it over to Tel Aviv or Jerusalem - then I would let Israel fight their own battle. They can defend themselves. We shouldn't have a dog in that fight. We'll never know the truth though because the wheels are already set in motion. The US is going to do what it wants and thats that.

No. The government lies about

No. The government lies about everything. If any Regime changes need to be made in the world, we should start with Washington D.C.
If they get us into ANOTHER war, it will be the last one.

As we have a muslim leader, I

As we have a muslim leader, I don't see us doing anything but aiding Iran. However a military "win" against an old enemy always helps with re-election. Iran is a distraction (gets all the coverage). The real action is in N. Korea with "thousands" of our troops fighting as we type.

To be fair, even though I

To be fair, even though I voted 'no', the poll says "as a last resort".

Yeah

I noticed that.

mickey45

Correct

I considered this and, as you, still voted no...becuase this is how you skew the voting by asking the question couched in terms to force a certain reaction...

WTF!

What is wrong with people? 59% of respondents say they support military action against Iran. Ten years from now these same people will be bitching about what a waste it was.

"Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law." — Aleister Crowley (The Book of the Law/Liber Al Vel Legis)

Over 60% support military action.

About 10% undecided.

Apparently this country has not learned a thing from 9/11 and the last 10 years.

It's still a war-mongering populace TOTALLY UNAWARE that they are being played like a fiddle by the central bankers of the country (and the world).
