My conversation with the Illinois Board of Elections
Submitted by Liberty81 on Wed, 02/22/2012 - 16:15I just contacted the Illinois board of elections on Monday to vote in my district. This is the conversation that followed:
Me: What do I need to bring to vote?
Lady: Nothing.
Me: I don't need my voter registration card or ID?
Lady: Nope.
Me: So what you are saying is that I need to get there before someone else who knows only my name and address votes for me?
Lady: (silence)
Me: Thank you for your time.
Someone please tell me that this lady gave me incorrect information. And if this is true then suddenly i starting to understand why Illinois has such a long reputation for election fraud.

Ohio requires an ID
Or at least they require me to at my polling location.
Avoid getting turned away...
..just bring your voters ID and your driver license. Sometimes they do this to deceive voters.
