One Word to Describe Ron Paul: Consistent?

A great choice; however, I would have chose Incorruptible.

Such a bad ass word. The Incorruptible. Man that really sets it straight. Incapable of being Corrupted. Consistent was safe, but incorruptible is awesome.

Good word to describe him

That's exactly what I said he would be when they asked the question during the debate.

Consistent Was A Great Choice

Incorruptible would've been great too but I agree that people would doubt it. It would've been a great word had it come from someone else (e.g. if Sarah Palin or someone like that who gets more respect than they deserve said it)

The funniest line of the night belonged to Newt with "cheerful" though. I laughed out loud at that one.

I didnt get Newt's

Is Newt's a joke or was he poking fun at Romney for using Resolute?

I think Newt was making a joke

One thing I noticed about Newt was that after he became the front-runner (a couple of months ago) that the first thing he did during the Huckabee debate was try to smile. My feeling was that his campaign manager told him something like "you're doing a good job but everyone associates you with negativism because you're always so harsh on the media and Obama, etc. So show the lighter side of yourself and start smiling".

Even in Tuesday's debate, when Dr. Paul said "Newt, you're almost there but not quite" (I forget what the issue was but maybe his stance on illegal wars), Newt then laughed heartily. In fact, he laughed so much and so long that it felt to me like he forced it. I have a feeling his campaign manager probably saw some poll that showed his slide in the polls was due to being "unlikeable".

Again this is all just an opinion.

I think he's trying to butter

I think he's trying to butter up the Paul supporters and appearing to make friends with the good doctor.

To think we'd ever vote for him is delusional though.

That's a good one, too.

That's a good one, too.

When a politician makes the

When a politician makes the claim of honesty, most people disregard it. He chose the right word.
