I Will NOT Vote for anyone except Ron Paul...Not Mitt, not anyone even if

Rand is his VP. No one but Ron Paul, at the top of the ticket. No way, no how. No deals, no compromises. Period. Do I make myself clear?

Really? Not even if you get a seat at the table?

Or a 10 minute speech at the convention? Or a regular Fox News correspondent spot? Or a pat on the back for being such a team player?

Don't be fooled into accepting a VP spot

Just because you here a lot of this stuff coming from some people against supporting Romney or Romney/Paul ticket doesn't mean those same people are not going to try to fool you into supporting the idea of RP accepting a VP spot at a brokered convention after they slip in Bush, Palin or even someone that we may seem to trust but not as much as Ron Paul.

RP needs the power of the highest office to restore constitutional government... he needs that office to bring the troops home, to end the fed and cut the size of government. No other office will do. Make no compromises.

There's a very sneaky ploy going on right now and it's coming from outside and from within the movement and possibly even from within the campaign itself.

I'm certain there's a lot of cash being thrown around and maybe even threats... after-all there's a multi-trillion dollar counterfeiting operation at stake here.... we're not up against small potatoes.

Get real!!!

Dr. Paul did just fine as a congressman who has very little authority. Why wouldn't he fight to get the presidency, even if he is forced to take Romney or fight for the vice presidency?
This fight isn't going to be won by Dr. Ron Paul as president regardless of who is his vice president. If people believe that it will be won by Dr. Paul alone, then please go home now. This is a battle that has to be face each and everyday until the end. Otherwise a hundred years from now the next generations will face the same dilemma.

I am very happy to see a

I am very happy to see a clear repudiation of any deal for direct support to Romney from a great majority of supporters. This is a message that the campaign will clearly get if there are supporters within of a direct deal to support Romeny.

What does concern me is a minority of folks who want to silence any concern or questioning. This is what the liberty movement is about, asking questions and expressing concern when it appears there could be a sabotaged train track ahead.

Let's all focus on electing Dr. Paul president, or at the very least, continuing to spread this great message of liberty. Rather it be Dr. Paul himself or any one of us, we are all just foot soldiers in the movement for freedom that started long before our birth.

God Bless,

"What does CONCERN me...."

...lol, here we go again.

The only VP I've heard Ron Paul mention is Napolitano as His VP.

As for this latest distraction,(started by the media in search of a new story) I'll wait to see what Ron says. I would vote for any ticket with Ron Paul on it. Rand is not Ron. Romney/Ron? Heartbreaking :(

If you see something, say something, the government is listening.
Silence isn't golden, it's yellow.

Paul people yelled a resounding NO to him being a neocon's VP

Go throw something else at the wall and see if THAT sticks.

If Rand or Ron was some neocon's VP, they are being strongarmed

And need a team of Seals to liberate them from some neocon lair.

I can imagine Cheney with a whip, "Your name is Toby! You want to bomb Iran!"

It is nice to know that if

It is nice to know that if Ron Paul chose to be a VP, you would bascially tell him "Fuck you Ron. I know more about politics than you do."

Try harder, please! But, I'll

Try harder, please! But, I'll tell you this, "Fuck you Jack Leonard! You fucking troll!"

On a side note: Ron Paul has been against the status quo if he chooses to team up with Mitt that's betrayal and hypocrisy to his supporters and most importantly to himself. So, it never going to happen!

Probably a good call on the troll...

...2 day member, pro-alliance with Romney, but I downvoted you nonetheless. Let's be civil, even to the trolls. Find a more subtle and witty way of telling them to go F- themselves.

Not a problem... I'm just

Not a problem... I'm just furious on people who have been a member of this site longer than me and now they're talking about Ron Paul as VP and willing to compromise.

It's Ron Paul or nothing

for me. I will write him in if he's not on the ballot. Ron Paul is my president and I won't accept anyone else.

I don't believe we will every see a Romney/Paul ticket. That would be an oxymoron. lol

Ron Paul as VP would be great for the establishment

and horrible for liberty. Imagine the image of Jesus as water-carrier for Satan. "At least Jesus is close to the action!" All this would do is tarnish Ron Paul's image. He would become a party to all the transgressions of a Romney administration (and they would be many). He would lose all the credibility he has built up over his decades of standing alone against the tide.

The Ron Paul we know and love can't be reconciled with Mitt Romney. If he were to go on being the same Ron Paul, Romney would not have him. Imagine: Romney announces he is bombing Iran. Our Ron Paul would immediately condemn this as a criminal act of aggression, and an impeachable offense. If Vice President Ron Paul would sit quietly on the sidelines, what good would it do us to have him there?

Some of you here have yet to learn: A man's word is his life. His integrity is worth more than all the money in the world. Ron Paul understands this. Think of all the worldly perks he has foregone, so that he could go on defending liberty!

With some of you people saying you would vote for a Mitt/Paul ticket? This goes against everything Ron and us supporters have been achieving.

Ron, Jesse, or Doug needs to come out and say there is no deal with Mitt. I for one would be betrayed if Ron were to pull a stunt like this, and that would be a deal breaker for me.

Never Again

Never again will I "settle." I'm still ashamed that I voted for that communist McCain (co-sponsor of the NDAA). Nobody but Ron Paul - I'll write his name in proudly!

"May future generations look back on our work and say that these were men and women who, in a moment of great crisis, stood up to their politicians, the opinion makers, and the establishment, and saved their country." Ron Paul

Unless Romney changed his positions (AGAIN!)

Ron Paul has been clear that he could never support any of these other guys without them changing their positions.

Romney, Santorum, Gingrich, and of course, Obama, are all war hawks.

oh my God people,

THEY are floating this crap out there just to see if WE would be okay with it. THEY would gladly give Paul the VP spot to shut US up or placate US, or get US to settle. WE need to send a clear message that this is unacceptable. THEY will not buy US out or bribe US with a figurehead position. hey GOP, get off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you.

Now, let's hear it from the campaign: NO DEAL WITH ROMNEY!

Excellent! this says it all in just a few seconds...

and says it best.

Why second guess it now?

Ron Paul can still beat Romney, or get enough delegates to trigger a brokered convention.

In two weeks, we should know if the situation is more concrete, pro or con. Maybe then we should hash out the options?

Support the Constitution of the United States

Ron Paul is not the

Ron Paul is not the principled candidate I thought he was if he agreed to become Mitt's VP. I don't necessarily agree to all of Ron Paul's platforms, but I voted (AZ Primary) for him due to his principles and consistency. Mitt/Paul alliance? Forget it!

Don't worry...

...he didn't and he won't ally with Romney. Never gonna happen, it's all BS and speculation.

"Alas! I believe in the virtue of birds. And it only takes a feather for me to die laughing."

I don't agree

If it ends up that he can't get the nomination and these are his choices...

1) Take the 2nd most influential position in the world today and still have a profound effect on saving our country. Being in the ear of the president every day and influencing the decisions he makes.

2) Walking away on principle while our country goes down in flames.

I'd take #1 all day long and I believe Dr. Paul would as well. And with they way Romney waivers, you know Ron would have an influence on him.

Walk away, continue on the speaking circuit. Assist others that stand on principle to be elected to office.

BTW -- that elected official might just be you. Stand by your principles.

Look at Ron Paul's position

Look at Ron Paul's position right now. He's not currently a VP, but he has more influential position than the current VP. Too bad, no one but Ron Paul! If the GOP don't nominate Ron Paul to run against Obama, I'll sit-in, grab a popcorn, and watch this country into oblivion.
