Laughing traitors make me sick
Submitted by DaveMac on Sat, 01/05/2008 - 23:03
I have never seen something so disgusting. Grown men laughing at a US Congressman talking about the US Constitution. Sitting on National TV Giggling like children. This is obviously another attempt to smear Ron Paul in front of the public. Looks like all the boys called one another and made sure they all placed grins on their faces whenever RP talked. This country has truly been taken over by insane neocon clowns. These men are traitors and I look forward to the day America holds them responsible. There will be NO mercy.

If Ron Paul doesn't get the
If Ron Paul doesn't get the nomination, these clowns are going to get smacked down hard.
Neocon traitors have inspired me
McCain and his boys have just solidified my resolve. I will never stop fighting for a return to our American Republic. I will never stop defending the Constitution. All I have to do is watch their behavior, the giggling, smiles, and abuse. All directed toward the American people that believe in the logic of our founding fathers. McCain thinks surviving five years in a VC prison makes him tough and a real American. I think John McCain needs to go back. He is a traitor.
i dont think our good dr. is
i dont think our good dr. is forceful enough to make his point. i think dr. paul should consider getting back at them. with all the flipflopping others did dr. paul should have all the ammo to finish 'em off.
Re:
The good Dr. did just fine. He always manages to get his points in among these idiots, and he calculates very well when to raise his voice. When he does, EVERYONE listens. The debate yesterday was great! They all looked like spoiled children in school, and Ron Paul was the school master.
This is getting Old to all!
IMO we must figure away out to break their backs ASAP, we the people have the Man and the best platform period. They are stopping our message from getting out and still playing games and saying we cannot win, and at the same time laughing at all off us! Is their a way to put together a DVD-You Decide, that shows from day-one what our message is and what the media has done to all of us. In addition, show all of the other candidates' and their childish behaviors. We need to do something! Most of us have DVD-Burners and the cost would be very minimum to mass-produce. Also, add RP supporters’ opinions’ in theVid. IMO we need to turn this against them. Just an Idea!

RP had plenty of chances to skewer McCain on his illegal laws
RP simply failed to skewer McCain or even put him on the spot for all the domestic legislation McCain has sponsored or voted for. McCain is the easiest target because he basically is the government's representative in this race.
What I see happening overall is that RP is training thousands of Americans to follow in his footsteps and, hopefully, do a better job of skewering the old guard until there is nobody left in Congress like John McCain calling themselves Republican.

the cream of the GOP?
Is this really the best the republicans could do... 5 idiots acting like rich rude spoiled high school kids? (ok, Thompson wasn't as bad, but probably cause he didn't understand the so called joke) God help us all. If Ron Pul doesn't get the nomination, I want to move. Are any states in this country talking about secession? I cannot envision living under the presidency of any of the fools running. Ron Paul really could be our last hope for America.
The Comic
Stirner.
The French Philosopher, Henri Bergson (1859-1940), understood the whole range of expressions from smiles through ridicule, to sarcasm ["tearing of flesh"] as based in social criticism. One of the reasons we have "laugh tracks" on TV is to allow the solitary viewer to feel that their social criticism is being shared by others (and so "social"). Laughing at someone is simply to criticize their unsocial behavior/thoughts. That is the reason that McCain was always looking sidewise at the others, hoping for their support, and when he found it, he enjoyed "leading" the criticism of Paul. With Thomas Hobbes, to grin was to "show one's teeth" -- a threating sign. What is agreed upon is that making "fun" of people is a sign of social insecurity, rooted in the primal fear of being isolated, of not being "one of the gang" [how cruel we were as children when our gang found an outsider to ridicule -- I have my own regrets]. Outsiders are usually laughed at because they represent a threat to the immediate community. Dr. Paul being thereby a "loony" since he is different, and even dares to be critical of McCain's gang, his tribe. In short, he is a threat. But the one who "makes fun" of outsider, fun in the name of and with the values of the group in which one belongs, is acting that way because of their own fear, upon a the primal fear of isolation, of rejection -- that they might be, as the outsider exists, not all that can be. The barely concealed anger of McCain (vented in snorts) is based upon his fear of isolation from a group, a fear of being considered an "outsider", and his desire not to be rejected from what he considers to be his group or tribe. It leads him to give signs of his "insider" status in the form ridiculing an "outsider" -- Ron Paul. His anger, in the concealed form of ridicule (which all too often in his case is more snarl than smile), is ultimately based upon his fear of being isolated. Fear is deep within McCain, perhaps from his youth, perhaps from his stay in the "Hanoi Hilton", and it comes out in his anger which, for political purposes, must come out only in the form of smiling, smirking, and various other efforts to gather social support. Rudy's angry outburst at Paul was not at all "politic" and he paid for it. McCain must avoid a direct expression of his anger, and so the ridicule. A bit pathetic when you think of it. Ron Paul must absolutely frighten the hell out him.

The neoCons
They are all neoCon whores. Pathetic. Laughing at principle. They wouldnt know decency if it stared them in the face. They will sell this country out. Ron Paul handled his self with dignity. The American people were watching. I will bet he gained alot of supporters from thier actions. We must continue on.
Well Im glad the truth is so funny
I just hope that more and more people wake up soon. Once you plant the seed of liberty just sit back and watch it grow.

Watching the debate last
Watching the debate last night and seeing all of those neocon fascists giggling, not giving a flying fuck about the welfare of this country is frightening. They laugh at logic. WHats worse THEY KNOW RON PAUL IS RIGHT, but they all serve corporations. Look at Romney, he even said there's nothing wrong with the pharmaceutical companies. They are not to blame haha.
This kind of treason amongst these neocons instills hatred in all of us and as crazy as it sounds motivates me to act out and become a patriot whether the nation will see me that way or not.

This is a conscious tactic...
you cannot attack the constitution directly. So you go through the back door. Its hard for the viewers to listen to anyone being laughed at...who wants to be affiliated with ridicule? Very effective for "authority figures" with humans who have no idea of their own nature and when they are being manipulated...aka, Americans.
Where is the campaign debate forum where spontaneous questions are asked of the candidates by the audience? Like..."What the hell is so funny about mentioning the constitution?"
You should be sick...its a sign you are still alive.
making fun of Ron Paul
I posted on the other debate thread...
the transcript quotes Romney as saying:
"We're going to miss you tomorrow night. (Laughter.)"
I'm guessing it's about the exclusion at the Fox debate?
(someone else pointed out that it was actually said by McCain?)
These people must be really, really threatened... which is a consolation because I am so angry at their behavior ...

I thought it was McCain who said this.
Not clear, since the camera is not on the person who said it. It comes at the very end of the exchange.
The snickering didn't bother me as much as
the way the Democrats and Republicans snubbed Ron Paul in order to chat with themselves. Reminds me of that George Carlin line..."A big f***ing club and you ain't in it".
Even the "great" Barrack Obama walked by Ron Paul as if he didn't exist. All those candidates represent themselves and the elite...only Ron Paul represents the people.

Gulianni on torture
Their collective behavior last night was appalling. While watching CSPAN this morning one of them, Gulianni, stated that the President on certain occasions must have the option of using torture to obtain information. Perhaps ideas such as this would explain his objectionable behavaior. Worse yet, there were young children in the room listening and learning supposed values of their countries leaders. Sad, very sad.
Yes, Yes.....
They make me sick....especially how there smiles make them look like demonic fools who want to end the greatness of this country.
Their plan
Well that's their plan isn't it?
Sure, we all see it, but
the press let's them get away with it, therefore endorsing the despicatble behavior, and the unsespecting viewer buys it..........Very little mention of Ron Paul on Sunday morning shows..........They are definately out to get him removed before he catches any wind by the voters.........the Home Office Campagin staff better get aggresive............Ron Paul can't be the only Spokesperson out there fighting...........
alan laney
Made it so bad...
What made a RP response near impossible was...while snearing/giggling or both...all 4 would attack RP simultaneously..all tripping over each other at the same time...blocking RP.
GOD BLESS RON PAUL
Yes, and how many years has Ron Paul had to with stand this abuse from his so called "colleagues". We all saw first hand how a man who stands for principal, reason, truth, and the Constitution is treated. Well we stand behind Dr. Paul and we aren't laughing. We support him and will continue to support him!
JJ
I had the impression
we were witnessing a show. These clowns were doing their best to get Dr. Paul rattled and they couldn't do it. They came off looking really foolish and crude.

"The use of 'Conspiracy Theorist' or 'Truther' as a derogatory -- as an epithet almost -- is something the propagandists have perfected over the decades, and it's a useful tool for eliminating articulate dissent."
Amen to that!
that is, the Americans who VOTED FOR THEM get what they deserve
and they can cheer on & on ... until reality sinks in, the truth comes out, and it's too late
but the rest of us will keep fighting the good fight, working to get state & local Ron Paul Republicans into office

Worth repeating.. It is time
Worth repeating..
It is time for a full offense by all liberty loving Americans. We have less than 60 days to change to course of American history. By voting and supporting Ron Paul we will:
Send those in Washington a message to ….
• Restore our liberties
• Quit wasting our taxes
• Restore Sound Money
• Let our children have a meaningful education…{ fire the educators who put in feel good courses}
• Protect our borders
• Secure our country
• Preserve out traditions
• Restore free markets
• Eradicate all socialist and globalist programs
• Stand UP for America!
We are here to take it back....
Ron Paul will fight with us to take back America. To take back ….”

• Our Sovereignty
• Our Liberty
