Megan Kelly is baised
clearly the talking points for her where to make Sans Scrotum look as good as possible.
"Once you become knowledgeable, you have an obligation to do something about it."- Ron Paul
is this fox lady actually defending santorum?
or am i biased...
GERMANY for LIBERTY !
I don't believe this. The
I don't believe this. The focus group is complete BS - we all knew it before and we can't deny it now just because they're mainly in favor of the candidate we like (Ron Paul, obviously).
What is Fox's ploy, here? What are they trying to gain?
I'm not dismissing that this is good publicity for him, but I feel like something more sinister is going on. If anything, I think that if Fox were being their usual biased selves, they would have just ONE Ron Paul supporter in the group and have the rest of them bashing him for his support.
I don't think for one second that these people aren't following some sort of script. I'd like to know what's going on.
Ron Paul is
consistent, honest and principled. You can't say that about Santorum. Santorum said it was against his principles but he voted for it anyhow. Ron Paul would never do that.
Pennsylvania caught on to Santorum and threw him out of office by a landslide, largest in history.
"Someone call frank luntz!
Whoever put together this focus group is fired!"
Made me wonder...
...whether Paul supporters infiltrated this focus group or whether these are average voters who actually came around to Paul's views after doing a bit of thinking. Any thoughts? Because if these ARE average voters, that's some good news for sure...
They're Fox personalities
Their positions are all known by the producers who formed the panel. I think their pro-Paul views are NOT EXPECTED by the powers that be at the network. They feel free to speak their minds, despite the moderator's abuse.
I'll take Ron Paul in the center square for the win!
The woman in the blue dress
Mary Walter, accused of a "Ron Paul" love affair, simply because she supports him. The MSM sh*t-for-brains personalities can't take people who support Dr. Paul seriously. A person can't simply agree with him; supporters have to be portrayed as sycophants instead of thinking voters who agree with his positions.
I'll take Ron Paul in the center square for the win!
Gingrich's One-Word Self-Characterization Should Be 'Hungry'...
hungry for power, hungry for McDonald's, and hungry for strange...in that order.
Romney's one word should have been 'plastic'.
Santorum's should have been 'harmful', as in hurting America.
Characteristically, the Doc gave an answer true to his innate modesty. He is plainly a cut above the others, older, but much, much wiser.
Ms. Kelly
I think Kelly is a closet Ron supporter. I always notice how she gets all happy and giddy when she interviews him.
He does pretty well in her interviews.
But then again, Kelly isn't the first name to pop in one's head when we think of "reporters that ask the tough questions," is she?
This just might be the beginning
of the perfect storm.
the winds they are
the winds they are a-changing...
This is the same focus
group they have had after the debates for awhile. The one lady has always been pro Ron Paul, but some of the others are obviously beginning to come around too. I would go as far as to say that a couple of them have been mostly converted, but know that will get dissed by the mediator so they hold their tongue a bit.
For those that are thinking
For those that are thinking that Fox is fair and balanced, consider this. Why is there only one person on record for wanting to vote for Ron Paul? Is that a true representation of the population . . . even a representation of the worst national poll?
This was mostly a trashing of Santorum with the inevidable Ron Paul praising that can't be stopped. It would be interesting to see the full unedited version of the interview . . . that would show us how fair they are.
you can watch it here:

Thanks, Just like I expected.
Thanks,
Just like I expected. Unfair and unbalanced.
So, as usual, most of it was a Romney promotion
With a focus on attacking Santorum.
The surprise was that a couple of good Ron Paul comments were allowed, even if cut off.
Ron Paul's Convention Speech
not in my edit
due to time constraints.
Wow
Megyn tried very hard to shut down the Ron Paul speakers - talking over them, dismissing their concerns, starting new talking points. Shame on you, Megyn.
But it's great to know we will and ARE being heard. Not even Fox can stop us.
If Tyranny and Oppression come to this land, it will be in the guise of fighting a foreign enemy.
James Madison
Interruptions right before key Paul points
I noticed that too.
There also seemed to be a lack of criticism for Romney and a focus on criticizing Santorum - that was probably the goal of this piece.
Ron Paul's Convention Speech
Strange things are happening.
I think the stars are aligning for us.
"We have allowed our nation to be over-taxed, over-regulated, and overrun by bureaucrats. The founders would be ashamed of us for what we are putting up with."
-Ron Paul
Sorry Megyn, no excuses for Santy
Trying to skirt Title X by saying well he voted for it but then promoted Title XX because it supported abstinence. Just as the guy in the vest tells her "You can't wear your religion on your sleeve and then justify voting for planned parenthood." That's nothing but being a hypocrite and lacking conviction. Ron has always said no to planned parenthood and never once voted for it to "win one for the team."
Thomas M. Gallion
I would have LOVED to hear
Ron Paul Said "I took and oath to an office, not a party"
Megyn "That's nice in theory, but in reality ..blah.. blah.. blah."
I would have loved to hear her say "Wouldn't our political system be so much better if all politicians were like that?"
Wishful thinking I guess. Who owns Fox anyways?
We need a Fox Focus Group Video
It would be nice to have a video of the Fox focus group from the beginning up until now. It could start with some the more slanderous statements, then just trying to play him off, then one or two start to say that he makes sense, and then it ends with this clip WHICH IS AMAZING!
An easy way to get some of our older family members that still love Fox news. As they watch they recongnize some of them and slowly they shift their opinion with the focus group on the video instead of being told that their opinion is wrong by some young Ron Paul supporter.
I've watched a few of these focus groups and posted the clips.
At least the Ron Paul segments:
The first was here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HZYiIwb-aEI
The second was here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=58tXIX6fPc4
And the third is the one in the top post. I don't know if he was mentioned in previous episodes. maybe I'll edit them into one video.
That one lady who you see supporting him, always throws a good word in for him and brings him up. People say Fox News is biased and are surprised to see these clips. Well maybe it is or at least some of their presenters are but I think CNN, MSNBC and CBS are worse. At least Fox news haven't uninvited her to their focus group. The group has a different array of members every week. She's always there.
Megyn the next Gingrich wife, Cheerful through it all
Actually after courage to stand up to my children and resolute like a 2x4, I thought "Cheerful" was a pretty good answer. Honest at least. Newt's happy go lucky, plowing through a stable of women, accumulating cash where he can and he's managed to keep himself in front of the cameras long after his sell-by date. It certainly describes his personality.
But the best part of all was watching Megyn as the panel kept lauding Ron in spite of her continuous redirect. That woman could smile while drinking an onion and horseradish shake scraped up off the city streets. Mmm, mmm, good!
Newt, she's ready when you are.
Grinch
spent the entire night telling us that there were terrorists under our bed, and they all had dirty nukes supplied by Iran. I would hardly call cheerful an honest answer. Though I do admit to it being funny, just because it was so false.
This is the BREAK OUT!!!
We just saw it... the 100th monkey!
Yeah, its all
fun and games, aint it, Megyn. If you wave your hands any more they will fall off.
