I don't see it as Ron Paul being "too timid".
I don't think he's timid...I think he prefers to choose his battles. This is NOT a stupid man. Don't confuse being polite, considered, and thoughtful as being timid. I think nothing could be further from the truth. You don't rally people around a message by being timid.

On the scale of who I think did the best:
Ron Paul
Fred Thompson (He was like a zombie but I think he made a good argument)
Mitt Romney
John McCain
Mike Huckabee (He barely said anything... A smart move, actually)
Rudy Giuliani
Ron might of been too timid but he put up some good points that I hope the nation took to heart. Ron brought up the issues behind the issues. Things NO ONE, not democrat or republican, will touch.

We hear alot of noise and a few "smarty pants" one-liners from him...and thats about it. Lately, he has started "borrowing" (from where I come it is called cheating/robbery/mugging/felony) a few RP's ideas. In the post debate comments RP himself clarified the last point. LOL

Remember in politics and policy tension builds for years (decades, centuries), but then major shifts can occur in a matter of weeks (especially now with the internet).
Remember what happened to the East German and Romanian governments once the Soviet Army left. They fell literally in days and weeks.
If Ron can keep building traction, by the time of Supper Tuesday he could be polling strong pluralities. After Super Tuesday he could be polling strong majorities. Also don’t forget he’s the only candidate that will be able to fully fund Feb. 5th.

You guys should see his latest TV ad. This guy is not only a war monger, he's a fear monger! What's interesting about this vid is it has the lowest ratings, and they don't post the viewer's comments. Hmmmm....
I guess if you can't convince people to vote for you, you can at least try to scare them into doing it!
