@ 7:54 INTO THIS VIDEO, IT WAS EDITED

@ the 7:54 mark, just when Ron Paul was talking about Iran you will notice the video quickly jumps back to Larry Kudlow. They did not play all of Ron Paul's answer regarding Iran. CNBC edited out his complete answer.

If anyone has the correct, complete video, please post a link to it. I would love to hear his complete answer.

We Love You Ron Paul!

Although Ron didn't

Although Ron didn't specifically answer Kudlow when asked about Iran shutting off the supply of oil, I suspect that Ron would probably TALK to the Iranians FIRST. If Ron were elected, it'd be a significant signal to both the Iranians and the rest of the world that American foreign policy would be much less imperialistic which alone would probably remove any threat of Iran acting unilaterally to cut of the supply of oil to western countries. Despite the reckless verbiage from some of Iran's leaders, Iran's government isn't stupid as Ron indicated. If Iran ever did act unilaterally, they'd be contained or annihilated with days or mere minutes. A FAR bigger danger is Israel acting unilaterally in a foolish move to remove some PERCEIVED threat and thereby inflaming the whole region in a war.

Larry Kudlow is NO friend of us...

Did you see how dismissive he was with Dr Paul when the newsletters issue popped up? He did not even INQUIRE to see if the claims are true, just accepted them at face value and then dismissed Dr Paul saying in effect, 'I never liked that guy'.

He's another media creature, its all about him and his ratings.
Nothing more. Truth, out the door the second there is a one point ratings advantage. Stick his neck out? Foooorrrgggetttabbbboutttttit.

Kudlow you MSM shill

Before you tout Romney's or Santorums' 28% corporate tax rate, have a look at Dr. Paul's budget and notice the 15% tax rate. I'm surprised Ron Paul didn't hit him over the head with that fact.

also note

also note Kudlow used the phrase "the shocking charge that Ron Paul has an alliance with mitt Romney that could lead to his son rand Paul being "INSTALLED"". The term installed is a negative connotation. I am also starting to hear words like delegate hunter and king maker this is part of a new smear campaign against Paul. I also it sounds like they are getting scared that Paul might actually win!

They are going to say Paul stole the election and that he is a dictator etc.

This is the best interview I've heard yet

Kudlow gave Dr. Paul plenty f time to answer his fair and and relevant questions on:

Santorum as a fake, and RPs advertising attacks being based solely on voting history.
Taxes, RP is aiming at 0% personal and corporate tax but taxes are secondary to the main problem of spending.
Spending, is our primary economic problem.
Oil, prices are raising in proportion to dollar devaluating and the problem we are creating with Iran.
Iran, would be committing suicide to attack while being surrounded.
Our foreign policy, has driven Iraq into the arms of Iran and is now driving Iran into into the arms of the Chinese.

We are making headway with the MSM.

A vote for liberty is always a vote for liberty.

Not just our foreign policy 'wrong', so are Iranians

Why give the Iranians a pass? They would ally with China regardless.

Iran is surrounded - but since the US has lost heavily every single war it has fought for the last several decades, it could very well lose the Iranian war and Iran would only suffer some damages. Taliban and other terror organizations are still thriving after the US spent trillions on supposedly fighting them. So, I expect the Iranian regime to thrive regardless of being surrounded by us military that has a habit of losing when it says it wants to serve us national interetsts.

Iran is a free country and should be able to trade with

whomever they choose. Who are we to give them a pass or infringe on their God given rights to liberty or trade with anyone they choose?

agree

I agree. Neither they or us or anyone should infringe upon that liberty.

Okay, I can respect peoples' opinions about Ron Paul even when they are wrong, but this just really pissed me off:

Misread that

I thought you said "the only decadent candidate" and was wondering if you were going after Santorum or Gingrich.

Kudlow

neocon ie. editor @ national review

On the whole I like Larry Kudlow.

For the most part he has always been Ron Paul-friendly.

Plus he's an intelligent financial reporter.

He knows the tricks FED is up to.

"We have allowed our nation to be over-taxed, over-regulated, and overrun by bureaucrats. The founders would be ashamed of us for what we are putting up with."
-Ron Paul

When it came down to it

(day before Iowa) Larry suddenly was very critical to Ron Paul, saying he agrees on the economic issues, but totally bashing Ron Paul on foreign policy, calling Ron Paul's stance (paraphrasing) dangerous and unacceptable!! I was flabbergasted. Now I still see he won't debate Ron Paul on that issue.

Of course we know that foreign policiy and economic policy are very close related.

They Vote How I Vote Now That...

To Ron Paul and other constitutionalists,

When you vote according to the constitution, obviously you votes adhere to it regardless which party has more influence, which party is "in power." So, when you're interviewed and asked to compare your votes to the bulk of your party's members voting when their voting matches yours, say the following:

They're voting how I vote now that our party is out of power. This behavior has gone on for some time.

Ron did the opposite. Ron said he votes how they vote or that they are voting together. Either way, Ron's weakens his position. Making his comment worse is that he weakens it while strengthening their movement: He goes to them, not them to him. That they vote "together" is neutral, still a diservice to himself, his record, the Constitution and all of us.

THESE KINDS OF OPPORTUNITIES ARE uncommon and PRIME TO EXPOSE the rest of the party members for what they are, gamers, fakes, bought-and-paid-for, empty suits, cronies, charlatans, puppets and souless humans whose children probably will at least dislike them when they realize what dad or mom did to their country and world.

School's fine. Just don't let it get in the way of thinking. -Me

dangerous policy

Paul hints at how dangerous a war with Iran would be with China's investment in Iran. This is an event that could lead us to WW 3. Pretty scary.

The real alliance is between Santorum and Romney, i can imagine what is going on behind closed doors as they discuss how to deal with Paul. They want Paul to attack Romney so they can gang up on him and bring him down. Paul is obviously to smart to fall into this trap, so they create conspiracy theories in an attempt to discredit Paul.

Why get into conspiracy theory to spite?

I agree with your first paragraph.

But, why make up an alliance b/w sany and romney? you don't have any proof or even a stmt that could be sanley interpreted that they are ganging up on paul and that ganging up on a candidate is wrong. Why would romney tell santy to go make up false theories about him?

jj

an alliance

to be honest i don't have any proof (That is why i used the word "Imagine") I wasn't trying to make a factual statement. if that's what you are asking for. I do see Santorum team up with Romney against Paul in certain states factual. this was stated by Paul himself. It is my "opinion" they are allied. in fact i cant see any difference between any of them other then Paul, he seems to be the only one who is real. That is Also an "opinion" not a fact. and this opinion doesn't just pertain to republicans but also democrats they all appear to be in bed together to me opinion.

I agree.

I agree.

Non-Interventionist

The main thing I noticed was that Larry used 'non-interventionist' rather than the usual 'isolationist'.

ytc's picture

Yup, FRIENDSHIP and rational amicable TALKs with

potential "enemies" abroad and on the campaign trail.

Why not? That's the way the Golden Rule is practiced that allows BOTH sides to prosper in PEACE.

In a Ron Paul presidency,

In a Ron Paul presidency, Romney would be fit only as permanent US ambassador to North Korea

LOL

LOL! I think he'd make a nice groom, too. :)

Does any of this sound familiars to anyone else?

This is the same crap they pulled with "So, word is out you don't really want to be president", where every 'reporter' and their mother had to ask Paul that question, and they asked it for about a week straight(often times the same person multiple times). I guess this is the new 'flavor of the month' to hound Paul with. What'll it be next month I wonder...something even more bogus?

Nailed it

Quite possibly one of Ron's best TV interviews. His one-liner about Rand not needing his help was epic, and I mean that in the most non-cliche sense. Anyways, he had ample time to speak and presented some of his most cogent and concrete foreign policy arguments to support his non-interventionism. And, frankly, while it may be his achilles heel in the GOP race, it is hands-down his key to victory in a general election.

Rand Paul VP

Let's say romney by some off-chance gets the nomination, I'm sorry but I could not bring myself to vote for romney even if Rand Paul became the VP.
Am I alone here?
