Fox News says Ron Paul is best for economy
Submitted by Cheeseburger on Sun, 01/06/2008 - 00:40
On the O'reilly factor (I know I shouldn't be watching it but I was flipping through and they said they would discuss who would be best for fixing the economy and I had to see if they would tell the truth). They had someone from fox business channel give his opinion on who would be the best for the economy and he said Ron Paul. Of course he then said but of the top candidates.... Laura (who was hosting for Bill) kinda tried to play it off. I don't know if anyone caught it. It was short but at least they mentioned him as being the best.

Faux not supposed to blackout Ron Paul? Ummm..
I see some comments here defending Faux and saying they are NOT being told to black RP out. Watch this video and at about :50 seconds into it, listen closely to Greta and then listen to Shepard Smith's attempt at damage control to what she said.

Did Greta slip up? Probably. Did Shep confirm what she said with his comments? I think so.
Giving Faux any credit at this point is not due. They are not only blacking out RP, but they are the ones being un-American. They have the audacity to call their opponets un-American and a danger to our country?
In my opinion, Faux is THE MOST un-American thing on TV and the web.
Hey!
Kill me if you are so inclined, but in my view it is a pointless argument to insist on a boycott of Fox. We are already enraged at their, shall we say, less than fair and balanced approach in their purposful lack of coverage of Dr. Paul. We all know the reason for it. In case anyone has yet to figure it out, here it is. They ignore him, slight him, and exclude him because they have no valid argument against either his positions or his record. They are clearly against him, but having no other place to turn, it is quite evident that the tactic they currently employ is their only option. Are they wrong? Of course. Is it a stupid and transparent tactic? Absolutly. But, only with respect to those of us who are informed.
Now, there are those who seem to feel that two wrongs in some way make a right. Poppycock! If we fail to include Fox in our diet of available news and information, we are not only doing ourselves the disservice of purposfully failing to be fully informed, but we are becoming a shining example of being absolutly no better than those we condem. Our job here is not to ignore Fox. Our job is to put Fox under a microscope and find ways to inform their massive audience of the actualities involved in this Presidential campaign.
Consider this... the United States has the problems it has today, in large part, due to the propensity of our government and our people to ignore others and do as we damn well please. Are we of the revolution going to be content to follow the heard and continue to repeat the same old mistakes? Wake up folks. Time to get in the game.
Fox News Biz Channel is desperate for ratings
Came across a story a few days ago that their ratings are quite low. So I think that the Ron Paul ban is probably temporarily suspended for them.
This is how negative mindsets get started here on Daily Paul.
Some have misunderstood Laura's comment about "Hands off" as meaning 'don't bring up Ron Paul'.
That's not what she meant. She was referring to Ron's policy vision of the government TAKING THEIR HANDS OFF OF THE ECONOMY and the taxpayers. Her comment points to Ron's desire to move toward the reduction of government power over the affairs of the people.
People who don't listen carefully will now go and send nasty emails to Laura Ingrahm and Fox. That's one of the reasons we struggle with the media and are often referred to as "rabid".
Laura Ingrahm is a Ron Paul supporter. And she gets annoyed by some of the brutishness displayed by Ron's supporters at times. He's one instance where she's trying to intro RP and the compulsive chanters can't quiet down

If we LISTEN we'd know that commentators like Jack Cafferty are impressed with the 'Thank You' emails he gets when he covers Ron Paul.

Thanks for that
I wish all this Fox paranoia would stop. There is no centrally controlled anti-Paul bias at Fox. Some reporters are anti-Paul. Some are pro-Paul. It all depends on the reporter. There are several pro-Paul reporters on Fox. As far as Fox Business Channel, it's a pro-Paul channel.
Im pretty sure we all
Im pretty sure we all understood that is what she meant when she said hands off... But she still was kind of dissmissive of disscussing Ron Paul.

Agreed. Strength of resolve

Something cool I found, the Ron Paul Repository:

Fox Business Channel is pro-Paul
Fox Business Channel has always been pro-Paul. The second day they were on the air they had a nice long interview with Paul and have had more since then - with the host very sympathetic with the idea of eliminating the Fed. The agenda of that channel is clearly libertarian.
Need to cover the beehinds
LMAO! If these financial reporters DON'T speak the truth or make a wildly wrong, misguided endorsement by naming any of the other candidates they'll be written off, ridiculed and never be able to work in the financial sector again.
In finance, only money talks. If you talk bull, you earn bull and messing with peoples' wallet in a sure way to lose your job and standing.
:^D
I saw it
She asked Jon Hoenig whose economic policy he liked and he said Ron Paul and her immediately reaction was Whoa! Wait, no! or something like that... then they just kept on but it was like he'd slapped her silly or like Ron wasn't allowed, but MANY MANY financial pundits have said they like Ron's ideas.
Thanks for posting
It just kills them to admit the Dr. Paul understands our country problems.
