Illegal Everything- John Stossel (very entertaining piece)

John Stossel's best show yet and one of the best shows of any program I've seen in years. I'm glad and encouraged to see John, instead of idling when his guests make obtuse and logic defying answers, finally counter and use sound points against those answers.

so true there are to many laws and more keep coming. Americans are not free at all. The Government owns us. We need a revolution. I fear the powerful authority of the government. Free people shouldn't have to live this why. The court wont stand up for people unless you spend more then its worth. Lets elect a hero Ron Paul and more liberty minded people need to run for offices. I think i will run for one in the near future!

I understand the moral argument for prostitution. Unfortunately, people forget that oncd the market goes underground, women are forced to go into this industry. I have a friend who is a former hooker and she told me it was like being stuck between a rock and a hard place. They would rather deal.w.punishment from the pimp then the judicial system. Also, the illegal pimps used illegal methods to keep the girls as employees...ie get em hooked on drugs. Forced sex slavery exists bc of prohibition

where if you believe in freedom then the Gov't, and it's useless drones, will throw you in jail.

I shouldn't watch shit like this because it pisses me off so bad. Gov't workers should not be allowed to vote or should be paid very very little(I'm thinking half of whatever the poverty line is). They're almost all just useless wastes of flesh. Grown up hall monitors with guns and an unlimited check book of other peoples money.

That drug czar adviser Paul Chabot(the guy looked drunk in the interview with those red eyes) was just a POS addict(according to his bio) when he was a kid so I guess he'd know best for the rest of us huh. I wonder how much this useless taxfeeder costs us?

And that prosecutor at the end saying she would "compromise your freedom" to protect these women from prostitution was ridiculous. All that prosecutor knows is how to hurt people(hell she probably went to nice college to learn how to hurt people the best). She's just another useless waste of flesh.

Well I guess if Ron Paul doesn't win I'll probably sell my business and try to find somewhere to live on this planet where my interaction with these useless overpaid busy-bodies will be minimal.

I would love to re-air these kind of productions of Stossel's on Public Access Television. I wish the Fox News logo wasn't on it and it was independently produced so we could air it all over Public Access Television stations without copyright infringement, just like Democracy Now! with Amy Goodman.

I'm so fortunate to have the federal government protecting me from myself. Otherwise I would probably be laying with a prostitute, high on heroin, with a stomach full of un pasturized milk.

We need to police the individuals law enforcer and have them pay for their above the law act. America is getting more scary. AWESOME SHOW.

Great piece John. As I commented on the ban smoking video, only a politician is stupid enough to screw up things that are basic common sense.

But they hate us for our freedom...I hope people who honestly believe that watch this show and really grasp the concept..a government tyranny is not freedom...a government that tells you what you can and can not do from the time you wake up in the morning until you go to bed at night is not freedom..The canadian and the pakistani discussing how they were allowed to open up lemonade stands in their countries was perfect..

Seeing these people victimized helps me fall in hate with government all over again.

Stossel's show reminds me why I support Dr. Paul: Morality.

Now, some may say I ought to support Frothy since he's the morals and values guy. But this show proves what happens to countries ruled by corrupt, immoral leaders: corruption and immoral behaviour trickles down to badge-wearers and bureaucrats, and they use their power for personal satisfaction or advancement, just like their elected officials, who trade special favours for campaign money and fabulous junkets.

America's leadership has no morality. They do not know right from wrong, only win or lose. That is why they pass laws only the BIG boys with big lawyers can comply with, leaving the little guys to be run out of town or fined to death.

But Dr. Paul is a man of impeccable morals: personally incorruptible, his administration would give an enema to the Executive branch, and it would have a moral trickle-down effect, causing the badge-wearers and bureacrats to reemember just who their bosses REALLY are:

This show is absolutely fantastic and highly recommended to everyone, even those who already know the importance of freedoms. Shows like this help the Ron Paul candidacy because they illuminate the importance of freedoms. Is Stossel the last person of this talent level remaining on MSM?

USA is a police state. Raw Milk & Lemonade czar Paul Chabot what a POS. This is why people fear the police because they are unrestrained and they know their illegal actions will never be punished. The only difference between the criminals and the police are the uniforms they wear. When you want to fly somewhere today anywhere you become a suspected terrorist.
