By all means!!....

Become a delegate and don't let anyone know you support Ron Paul until you get to vote for him. The campaign needs to make a strong showing in the delegate count.

However, let's not pretend that the GOP establishment is going to let Ron Paul be nominated no matter how many delegates he amasses, especially if he comes in third in the vote count.

We need to hear from the campaign how he's going to get his name on the general election ballot. A write in campaign is going to muster the fewest votes.

There is nothing that the Romney/Santorum ticket will feel compelled to give to Ron Paul. He will get nothing more than an 8pm speech and some worthless references to auditing the FED in the platform. They are not going to give Rand anything either in 2012 or 2016.

For all practical purposes Ron Paul's GOP campaign is lost. Zero to gain and much to lose. He needs to form a coalition ticket before it's too late to get on the ballot. This is the only chance he has of winning this election.

How many Ron Paul supporters became delegates....

How many Ron Paul supporters became delegates in Arizona & Michigan? There are 59 delegate slots to be filled have Ron Paul supporters filled these slots? I don't hear about him picking up delegates in these states why not?

I don't care if they're bound to another candidate, I just want to know they're Ron Paul supporters. If you're a Ron Paul supporter & have successfully become a Delegate in either of these states let me know please? I want to thank you.

Delegates to the 2012 Michigan Convention elected 2010.

Filling the vacancies is is how I went to two conventions in 2008 and was an alternate to the 2010 Convention. I filled vacancies in my precinct.

Join a county GOP, and offer to fill any delegate vacancies, go to the County Convention to make it official. Thursday 3 May 2012: County Conventions

Precinct delegates elected to the County Conventions elect delegates to the State Convention. This step is not formally related to Presidential Preference.

State Delegates select Delegates to the National GOP Convention at the State Convention.

"National Delegate binding according to State Law: Delegates are bound to their Presidential preference from the start of the nominating process through the end of the first ballot at the Republican National Convention. Delegates may not amend their Preference unless released from that commitment. Delegates become officially uncommitted if their Presidential candidate is either not allocated delegates or looses his/her delegates. Presidential candidates may not be allocated National Convention delegates if they withdraw, suspend their campaign, endorse another Presidential candidate, or seek the nomination of another political party for any political office."

You look like a troll. I'm sorry if I'm rude, just telling you what I think.

Your last line looks like you are fishing.

Read the sign no fishing allowed here.

If you are a stealth delegate do not tell this person or anyone else on the internet. Keep it to yourself.

No offense Danz177 but if we win this thing they'll all make themselves known after the fact. This is not a secure server.

November 6th 2012 I voted for Dr.Ron Paul
"We must remember, elections are short-term efforts. Revolutions are long-term projects." ~ Ron Paul

I don't think its a good idea to identify who's a delegate...

just so you can thank them. The party criminals would like to get that info to derail our efforts.

Ignore the media's lies and propaganda.

I'm not a delegate but I exchanged emails with

one of the coordinators for Ohio and they worked very hard in November and December to help fill those delegate slots with RP supporters.

Ignore the media's lies and propaganda.

I have seen a couple times in this thread, that Ron Paul ran as a Libertarian candidate in 2008. He ran as a Republican candidate in 2008. He ran as a Libertarian candidate in 1988.
Just to clarify the info.

We've got to start reaching out

to people who vote Republican in every election. These kids on college campuses only make up 7-8% of Republican voters. If we're gonna win this, we've got to steal Santorum and Romney's voters.

Intellectual Revolution!!!!

Guys this is nothing more than media manipulation!!! This house of cards is going to fall on its head at the Convention in Tampa!!!!! Even without Ron Paul though if you are keeping up with the rallys from all the candidates Ron Paul is the only one drawing the numbers in the THOUSANDS at almost every rally!!!! ESPECIALLY AT UNIVERSITIES AND COLLEGES!!!!

We are taking this country back and like paul said he is lucky enough to be a part of it!!!! We must drive this point home to all those who are feeling defeated and like theres no hope!!! WE MUST STAY STRONG AND UNIFIED!!!

Liberty WILL RING in this country!!!!!!!!!!!

I read this the other day

EDIT This is in reply to someone's comment. New user and I just embarrassed myself with my first posting. :)

So Santorum is going to win

So Santorum is going to win on Paul's home turf? And Paul is going to be last in his own State? That's freaking ridiculous! Texan Repubs are dumber than I thought! And Teabaggers have no backbone and no principles for backing Santorum who advocates big government. They are forgetting that their godfather is Ron Paul. IDIOTS!

Michigan Primary Results Rigged?

Sorry. I just do not believe these Michigan results are true! Michigan voters are not that stupid! Something is very wrong at the polls.

Laurie Jo

No, that was about right for

No, that was about right for Berrien County. You people need to look at the numbers. Only ten percent of the vote were people between 18-29, THAT was the problem. My age group will tweet, facebook, and go to rallies to yell all day everyday; but go to the polls and actually vote(???)-- Nah!.

That is the reality. You don't have to like it, but you do have to accept it. My Uncle and I got about 61-63(not sure if two actually went to vote) votes yesterday for Michigan that we know of. If every supporter just got twenty five Ron Paul votes, not just "people who like Ron" but real hard "they went and voted for Ron" votes this could be an interesting race. But most won't actually go out and do the hard and sometimes uncomfortable work of direct voter engagement and thus won't actually get the votes needed. Going on blogs, commenting on web articles, and especially sign waving does very little in comparison to directly engaging the voter and finding out what THEIR issues are and making them realize that Ron is THEIR guy for THEIR issue. If we're serious we'll do the serious and uncomfortable things needed to be done. Every single one of the votes we got were won by going to the people and calling the people and making sure they had to do as little legwork possible to become aware of who to vote for, why to vote, when and where to vote, and how to get others the information if needed/wanted.

It is not easy, but it is simple.

So we need to get them registered and voting.

So we need to get these people at the rallies to REGISTER REPUBLICAN and VOTE. At least in the remaining states where there is time for that to happen.

And I'll bet the problem is that they're either not registered or they're registered Democrat and loath to change it.

So hand out the friggin motor-voter registration/reregistration (party affiliation change) forms at the rally. And/or have them sign 'em on a clipboard and then turn 'em in ourselves. And tell 'em that there's no problem with changing party affiliation BACK after the primary or caucus, that the only thing it costs 'em is not being able to vote on which democrat zombie runs for some other office, and there are so many people already doing this that the media has coined a name for them (Blue Republicans). Then they CAN vote. And if they're willing to go to a rally I bet a bunch of them WOULD vote.

"Obama’s Economists: ‘Stimulus’ Has Cost $278,000 per Job."

That means: For each job "created or saved" about five were destroyed.

I'm confused...

I just checked the results for Michigan and Paul beat Gingrich there. I went to bed before the results were final, but reading the comments here it sounds like he came in last. He didn't according to Fox. They made sure he got less than 15% so he wouldn't get any delegates, though.

It is obvious to me that these elections are totally fraudulent...that's what a computer will do for you.

the resultrs are rigged

The problem here is that the election process has been rigged in this country for many decades . You may think your voting for who you choise but your not . The only reason why this is being exposed now is because people are finally waking up and paying attention . The establishment is messing up so much thus far thatit's only amatter of time before they expose themselves ....soon !

exit polls

this is what they base the winner off of Total Respondents
2535. they are able to claim the winner before the first vote is ever counted , the media outlets all share the same exit polling data. The media creates the news just like the government creates the problems.

So what do you think is more effective?

Have You Signed Up to Become A Delegate Yet?

Don't get overly sidetracked by the votes in Michigan and Arizona. Neither of these states figured heavily in the strategy to accumulate delegates.

Don't lose focus on this most important issue. To win the nomination requires votes from Delegates! Yes, in the states where delegates are bound, who the delegates vote for in the first round at the national convention is frequently determined by who wins the state or precinct. But as it looks right now, nobody will win the first round.

After that, delegates are usually free to vote for who they like. This is where having delegates who are Ron Paul suporters comes in. We need as many Ron Paul supporters as possible to become delegates.

Have you signed up yet?

I want to be a delegate

How do we sign up to be a delagate in our state?

Contact your local RP

Contact your local RP grassroots team. Look for meetup.com in your area. RP2012.com and go to the delegate section. Call your states GOP and ask them.

Another possible reason

Though I still have a lot of hope, because MI and AZ are not good states for Paul, keep in mind that if Ron Paul doesn't win, our nation will be run into the ground by our current political class.

A secondary purpose for the Ron Paul Revolution might be for those educated in SANE political philosophy throughout the 50 states to help pick up the pieces.

Eventually, people WILL turn to Ron Paul or whoever picks up his mantle. I just hope it won't be too late to salvage our country by then.

Simply astonished.

I have made it a point to avoid MSM almost like the plague, rarely venturing there, with 99% of my visits there being posted by the DP.

My point is that I'm apparently very out of touch with other Americans.

Based on Paul's totals being even less than these evil bastards of the Grinch and Santorum, I sincerely wonder how so many millions of Americans are asleep, so brainwashed, so craving for war and debt, so steeped in ignorance that they don't know their savior (lower case "s") when he walks among them.

Truly a prophet is without honor in his own country.

I am just stunned.

Reply to Simply Astonished

I agree with you....I used to listen to MSM just to "keep tabs" on them, but the last month, it has been so sickening, I really try to avoid them...This morning when my "Yahoo" came up, the stupid AP "news" headline was: "Romney continues to rack up the delegates needed to secure the nomination"....SINCE WHEN?????....They ASTONISH me too, how they report fraudulant information.

Keep in mind

That this was a primary where if you earned at least 15% of the votes, you could be awarded some delegates. They made sure that he didn't even get that much (which is why he came in under Santorum and Newt). Total shutout.

BUT, keep in mind also, that the campaign knew this would probably happen so their strategy is still about the caucus states and the unbound primary states.

Keep the faith!

Michigan State University Rally

I wonder where all the votes went from the MSU rally attendants? How can we STOP electronic voter fraud? I saw a vido where it was done rather easily and undetected. Paper ballots were fed into an automatic counting divice where the "computer chip" that goes into the counter itself was rigged.

Laurie Jo

Caucuses mean more !

Exactly . Many people don't know how the primary and caucus system works . Dr Paul perfers caucuses then primaries mainly because the primaries award the total amount of delegates to the 1st place winner . Dr Paul is playing a very well thought out strategy here . Even though Dr Paul hasn't won a state ( not that it makes a difference ) , Dr Paul is only 5 delegates out of 2nd place and 3 delegates out of third place ! Isn't it somewhat strange how the Liberal Mainstream Media doesn't mention the fact that 2nd , 3rd and 4th place is only a 5 delegate difference, with Ron Paul not winning ONE lousey state !

3rd party or it's alll for nothing

POLL: what is the % chance Ron Paul will announce he is running third party if he does not get the nomination?

I think if he does not get the nomination, Ron Paul HAS TO run 3rd party or it will really be a big setback to his revolution if we get stopped in our tracks by the GOP when we could continue all the way to the general election.

3rd party all the way !

I'm 100% positive that Ron Paul will run as a 3rd party candidate if he doesn't get the 2012 Republican Nomination . In 2008 , Ron Paul ran as a Libertarian and he was not invited to many debates because of this Two Party system . In 2012 , Ron Paul has been in every debate solely because he's running as a Republican . Dr Paul may run as a Libertarian but we also have former governor of new mexico Gary Johnson also running as a Libertarian . Dr Paul could run as a Independent , but a 3rd party candidate in Ron Paul isn't totally Impossible .
