Monsanto Pays $93 Million to Victims In Settlement

Monsanto tentatively agreed to a $93 million settlement with some residents of Nitro, West Virginia. Nitro is a small town that got its name from manufacturing explosives during WWI. It was also the site of a Monsanto chemical plant that manufactured 2,4,5-T herbicide that was half of the Agent Orange recipe. Herbicide 2,4,5-T was contaminated with the caustic by-product dioxin. This settlement may open the floodgates to successfully suing Monsanto for its poison.

just be careful where you buy seeds if you do that... many companies are owned by, or buy seeds from - but not called Monsanto...

and use vinegar (you can even make your own) or acidic water as a weedkiller... works great... and better than supporting natural gas / propane for weed burners too!

He was an investigative reporter for a station in Tampa and later in Detroit. He suit Monsnto and won a large award because they pressured his station to squelch and change a report that he did about them. He also went very aggressively against Detroit's corrupt mayor and his cronies. He would be a great asset to us. He knows the media inside and out and he fights tooth and nail for the truth. Where is he now?

damn good reasons to get him elected... mega corporations like this own politicians and support the military industrial complex... this one especially has been conducting experiments in Iraq with zero accountability and it isn't even being hinted at by the news media...
