Joe Scarborough (@Morning_Joe / @JoeNBC) Pledges $ to Ron Paul Campaign

Morning Daily Pauls & Paulettes,

Please let me know what you think (either here or on my YouTube channel).

I have spent the last two nights (and mornings) on putting this together. I randomly came across a comment on a different thread that discussed Joe Scarborough and the fact that he was talking about the debt and deficit and was comparing proposals from Obama, Romney and Santorum.

I looked on the Morning Joe website and sure enough, there was an entire segment comparing those "3 candidates" based upon an analysis put together by the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget.

In the video he says, 'If there were a Republican candidate who would take the debt seriously, I would be supporting him and my family would donate $ to him.'

I nearly lost it...and have spent many, many...many hours putting this together...mostly because I use Microsoft Movie Maker, MS Paint (to cut/paste and write on slides) and didn't realize YouTube restricted videos to 15 minutes (I originally had a much longer video).

Joe has Ron Paul on ALL THE TIME. WTF HAPPENED?!

Although I would 3vol it if this became a Top Recent Topic, more importantly, I want Joe to watch this. Please get this to him!

mo'Joe is taking comments at....

He asks the question: "What do you think about Romney and Santorum's speeches from last night?"
underneath his own article entitled "The Morning Joe panel speaks: GOP field weak on speeches".

Television: Why do you think they call it "programming"?

Susie 4 Liberty's picture

Excellent Job!

And I did 'suggest' in my comment that, as a man of his word, he ante up to Ron Paul...

I would love to see this video go viral before SuperTuesday!-

But I agree it deserves a more beneficial Title. Lot of harsh comments on the current title, easily changeable, let's suggest some and promote it. I think its an awesome vid.

Here's a suggestion for a different title:

"Why isn't Morning Joe Scarborough contributing to Ron Paul's Campaign!?"

"If you want something you've never had before, you have to do something you've never done before." Debra Medina

"Joe, let's be very clear here:

You WILL host our analyst who is going to make the case for the president's budget. You WILL NOT mention your favorite candidate, Ron Paul. If you do there will be very serious consequences, do you understand? I think you know what those consequences are."

New Hampshire and Ecuador.

Incredible work man

I am sending this to all of my Republican and Tea Party friends today who have the ridiculous notion that any of their preferred Republicans plan to do anything at all to address spending.

The campaign simply must be more aggressive going after talk TV and talk radio. This is how minds are being muddied.

This is utterly Un-Believable. I've seen Scarborough several...

...times in the past SEEM to support Ron Paul on his show.

You did an excellent job of video editing "Between Unemployment."

This must be seen by the masses.

"We have allowed our nation to be over-taxed, over-regulated, and overrun by bureaucrats. The founders would be ashamed of us for what we are putting up with."
-Ron Paul

Joe Scarborough will always

Joe Scarborough will always look out for #1. He is what stinks about GOP. They fail to play fair at any game. Obama's dems are of the same ilk. Watching this "theatre" for politics play out is the most repugnant of what has taken over America who call themselves the establishment. Good presentation of this point with your video.

The Rasmussen poll showing

The Rasmussen poll showing that only Ron Paul beats Obama would be a nice quick addition.

RON PAUL 2012 * Restore America * Bring The Troops Home

A remarkable job putting this thing together

Have to tell you that nearly all the video got me upset. You know that feeling one gets in the pit of the stomach?

To me MSNBC is like a Communist operation...they are full of hate speech as demonstrated by the Video you so well produced.

Sadly, the "F" word is too good to describe these MSNBC parasites.

Thank you so much for the work that you did which only solidifies why I got rid of TV and only rely on the Internet for viewing certain TV programs. MSNBC is definitely not an option to watch along with CNN, CBS, NBC, FOX, need I go on. TThey are all controlled operations and I don't like them at all. Screw Morning Joe and screw his family too.

fearless brave joyful peaceful loving grateful, compassionate

send him this

dont forget to send him THIS report which says 3 of 4 GOP candidate's plans increase the debt and deficit.
Dr.Paul's plan is the only one decreasing it.

Dr.Ron Paul's 2002 Predictions

Down voted for misleading

Down voted for misleading captioning. I understand the intent, and how you would draw that conclusion based on a series of statements he has made, but you could have approached it with a bit more creativity than attempting to state a fact that clearly isn't one.

Good work nonetheless.

tu mon ami? Really? Is this guy coming down with Alzheimers? He did everything but shout out "IS THERE A DOCTOR IN THE HOUSE" Really Joe nice stab in the back your making Mika's dad proud. RP2012 Not This Time You Bastards

9/11 was an inside job .....time to get some answers..RP 2012

Very nice job but you are not using youtube to full advantage

You can stack a ton of complete hyperlinks first in the video description. Leave a spacebar between them so they are separated. And then all information in the video description like this which I didn't get anyway because I don't twitter I guess:
Joe, you used to be on the right side of #BlackThisOut. What happened?

You could link to Ron Pauls campaign website, his official youtube channel,campaign4liberty,his facebook page, any of the superpacs, dailypaul ad infinum.

This should be in the description:
Primary Numbers: The GOP Candidates and the National Debt

Download link:

Actually you could add the 3 links above to your original post.

November 6th 2012 I voted for Dr.Ron Paul
"We must remember, elections are short-term efforts. Revolutions are long-term projects." ~ Ron Paul

Very good points, thanks.

Will do...

Good Stuff

I linked it to everyone I know

The title of this long video is a lie!

I really hate to be the only one to be mentioning this, but it really pisses me off when someone creates a video and then gives it a title description that is just a damned lie! Just because it is a video about politicians and liars doesn't mean that have to tell another lie when you title it!

Forgive me Father for I have sinned.

I have told a half truth on a blog comment and YouTube title. Larryc213, I suggest that you save the "getting pissed" for more important issues.

The exact statement was, "If there were a Republican that I was convinced was going to be disciplined on the debt then I would already be supporting him and I’m sure my family would already be giving them money. There’s not."

It's obvious based upon his past interactions that Joe knows that Ron would be serious on about the debt. If taken at his word, therefore, Joe would be "supporting [Ron] and...[his] family would already be giving [Ron] money". That's why I used the word, "pledge" and not "donate".

Non-Ron Paul fans aren't going to view a video titled, "Hey, I'm Bitching About the MSM Again, Please Watch."

Now, had I ricked rolled you that'd be a different story. I spent a lot of time showing that Joe, if serious, almost has to support and pledge to Ron if he's really "serious about the debt."

Can you not see the irony? Joe Lied and you called him on it…

And then you lied in telling the story. Pot, meet kettle. That statement that you made in response to mine is just B.S. It ranks right up there with Bill Clinton's admitting that he smoked pot, but he didn't inhale.

You lied and I called you on it. It really is that plain and simple. I'm not attacking you or attempting to crucify you.

You lied and I called you on it. Just be a man and admit it. The only thing that really bothered me in the first place was that it was someone here at this web site that lied. We are supposed to be (at least that was what I thought) a team here.

We collectively call out lies and dishonesty by our opponents. And we do not like it when our opponents lie about Ron Paul and we don't like it when they lie about us. So to me, it is important that we be honest and trustworthy. That is what we expect of others and I have every right to expect the same standards be practiced by our team. It is something I call honor. We cannot demand honor, honesty and integrity from our enemies if we don't even practice it amongst ourselves!

Use Honor In YouTube Titles?

Get off your soap box. Go outside and get some air. You are obviously too high on yourself right now. There are stories on here dripping with conspiracy shit, 911 truthers and a whole bunch of other nonsense and you're calling me out on the title of a YouTube video? If you actually watch the whole thing, you'll note that all of the information in there (which I spent hours putting together) is absolutely true.

WTF have you done for the campaign lately? I've made videos, donated, made tons of calls, sign waived, gone to meet ups, made shirts, etc., etc.

Being a troll on a website is not honorable.

"Use honor in youtube

"Use honor in youtube titles?" Wow, I suppose that is such a bizarre and out of this world concept that it is simply beyond your capacity to comprehend. If titling a youtube video in an honest way is a totally incomprehensible concept to you then how about using an honest title here at the daily paul? Or is that beyond your scope as well?

"Get off your soap box. Go outside and get some air. You are obviously too high on yourself right now. There are stories on here dripping with conspiracy shit, 911 truthers and a whole bunch of other nonsense and you're calling me out on the title of a YouTube video?" Well, not just the title of the youtube video itself, but also (and this is the biggie, so pay attention here) that you used a title on your post at this website that was false and misleading.

Since when did calling a liar a liar become a soap-box as you call it. Thank you for your advice. That would be very healthy for me. Thank you for caring about me as a person. Yes, there are and yes, I am. You did not have to falsely label your post here, did you?

"WTF have you done for the campaign lately?" Just donate money.

"I've made videos, donated, made tons of calls, sign waived, gone to meet ups, made shirts, etc., etc." I am very glad that you done some good and honorable things. That is good.

"Being a troll on a website is not honorable." I really love this one. 1. You lied. 2. I said that you lied. 3. And because I said that you lied (which you did), you are now saying that I am a troll for speaking a truth, hmmmm. If you wish to call me a troll, you are free to do so, but that in no way makes you an honest man. Nor does it make you less of a liar.

Dear Mr. or Mrs. Between Unemployment, I really do wish you a most pleasant and happy day. I really don't have or feel any type of anger or grudge against you. You made a statement and I felt that your statement was one that contained a dishonesty. I said as much in my first reply. That does not mean that I think that you are an evil, or even a nasty person. I am relatively sure that your positive attributes outweigh your less that positive attributes. And lets just leave it at that. In the future, I will simply avoid reading or looking at things that you post. Have a happy and blessed day.

How about looking at it this

How about looking at it this way. Joe made a pledge (which he did), but he is making excuses that he thinks releases him. Now we want to call him on it and tell him it would be good practice to following up on his pledge.

Some people only read the titles, and that's the technique Congress uses to fool them: Patriot Act, Defense of Marriage Act, etc. which are exactly opposite of their titles.

What do you think? http://consequeries.com/

just blasted his FB

good job!

"Give me liberty or give me death" Patrick Henry

What about the fact

that the Restore America Plan will produce a balanced budget in the third year of President Paul's first term? These projections were all over ten years so Obama is reducing the deficit by $1.4 trillion over ten years or about $140 billion per year. Ron Paul will cut £1 trillion in year one.

By giving comparisons over ten years it appears as though Ron Paul is close to Obama in cuts but actually he does it all in one year and the entire $2.2 trillion in three years. In other words he is dealing with his own term of office not projecting beyond that into an unknown future when he is long gone.

What if he brings the budget into surplus and begins to pay down the debt. At this time he is the only one who will be in a position to do so. Even the projection that by 2021 his plan will produce a national debt equal to 76% of the GDP is probably far too pessimistic since they are using his balanced budget scenario I believe and a pro-forma increase in GDP. In fact his plan will likely increase GDP and reduce spending even further and increase revenues resulting in a rapid reduction in debt let alone deficits.

"Jesus answered them: 'Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who commits sin is a slave to sin. The slave does not remain in the house forever; the son remains forever. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.'" (John 8:34-36)

WOW Really nice work

Like said earlier, just add voice over to the text. That will give you the speed for the video i think.
Really nice. Just as good as those RevPac ads...because when all things are done and past the election....THIS video will still be worth a lot to the republic!!!!!

Good Stuff

Thank you for taking the time to create this video. These are the kinds of things that help wake people up. Keep fighting the good fight.

For Liberty!

Just emailed him

That was easily one of the top three craziest things I've ever heard someone say on tv. This just confirms to me I'm supporting the right guy.

Tu ne cede malis sed contra audentior ito

daily occurrance on Morning Joe - he is blind.

You could compile dozens of hours of video of Joe talking about what it means to be a small government conservative. of Joe wondering why nobody sees the oversees adventurism as excess spending. of Joe bemoaning the huge entitlement liabilitites. of Joe proclaiming that the debt burden is the number one problem. of Joe worrying about big government republicans who will only add more debt.

He asks the group every day, "where is the candidate who will take these things seriously?"

He is a moron for failing to recognize his candidate right in front of him. There are none so blind as those who will not see.

And he does not have Ron on his show much. Only once or twice this election cycle, afaik. The best appearance was last election cycle, when he and Mika marveled at the Doctor's ability to call the housing bubble and subsequent crisis. They suffer 100% amnesia regarding that appearance now.

I'm voting for Peace.

Not a moron...a shill

I like Joe, he's relatively decent compared to the norm in TV news, but he's still an employee of a major corporate news outlet. He knows Ron Paul personally, and he obviously approves of him, and agrees with his policies, but can't openly support him because he's paid to push an agenda, and Paul is not part of it.

I mean it's the same all over. How often does Hannity or Limbaugh or any of them basically lay out all the reasons that only Ron Paul's platform can save the country, and then pretend there's no one with that platform, and later go on a rampage calling Ron Paul a kook for having all the positions which they just praised. Its insane, but that's what they're paid to do. The country is coming around to real conservatism and Paul's message, and the media shills can't totally ignore that, they praise the message but just try to separate it from Ron Paul.

"Alas! I believe in the virtue of birds. And it only takes a feather for me to die laughing."

Back when Pat Buchannan was still on,

Pat would occasionally remind them that Ron exists. But now that Pat is gone from MSNBC, it is easier than ever to keep him down the memory hole.

I'm voting for Peace.
