RON PAUL 2012!

From the campaign:

The help of fellow patriots from OUTSIDE Washington State is desperately needed on caucus day March 3rd. In Washington State, most caucuses are held in pooled locations where in many cases over 200 precincts meet in one location. We have a need for 150 out of state patriots to help keep the caucus counts honest, man tables and be a presence at pooled locations in the Seattle area from 8:30 AM to approx 11:30 AM. The most important things that anyone out of state can do to help Washington right now is:

  • Travel in if you can afford it and help at the pooled caucus
  • Phone from home
  • Contact every RP supporter you know in Washington State and go to www.waronpaul.com and “submit a supporter”

Many caucus goers don’t understand how the caucus process works and have never been to one before. By volunteering you’ll have the chance to keep the process honest, help new caucus goers and be a big part in delivering a WIN for Dr. Ron Paul!

Question to a Canadian

Didn't Canada at one time, not too long ago actually overthrow its' government leaders and install new ones? I remember reading about that somewhere and was so proud of your citizens.

It's a different political system

with multiple parties making a majority coalition. If a member party leaves, it's a vote of no confidence and a new election. Prime Minister Joe Clark lasted about 100 days if memory serves correctly

One day, I'm gonna' change my name to Dale Lee Paul

Spokane wasn't rigged...

Just an FYI, I received a message this AM from a trusted source in Spokane, where the RP people control much of the party. The counts were verified by district leaders (again, mostly RP people) and campaign officials from all camps. The numbers are real, at least in that county. I truly believe there was no room for fraud, at least in Spokane.

Don't lose faith, though. The straw poll and the delegate counts are different things, and the latter is what matters. What I saw yesterday were mixed straw poll results and delegates falling left and right for Dr. Paul.

If that is true, why did the

If that is true, why did the RP campaign fair so poorly in Spokane county compared to 2008, while it did so well in every other county in Washington?

That makes 5

I was ballot observer in Pierce, Willamett(sp?) was reported well run, Spokane and Clellum report no fraud and Clark as well.

I wish someone had the capability to hack into E-mails

I would like to see all national and state communications in the republican neo-con heirarchy e-mails back and forth. Like I can see the national e-mail sounding like (keep up the good work we have to get Romney nominated no matter what it was promised to him in 2008 if he gave his delegates to Mc Cain) These e-mails back and forth have to be out there as well as e-mails between state chairmen and fox, cnn, msnbc and the networks.

The Chairman of the State Republican Party

I forgot his name but I was watching CNN yesterday afternoon when the votes were coming in and the chairman of the state party was reporting the votes. He was bragging that he had 5 caucuses held in his own house with over 80 people there and they all voted for Romney. Tell me that is not fraud.

lol

Imagine if RP campaign pulled a stunt like that :O

Nice 2nd place but..

Whether it's a straw poll or not, we need to capture some wins. Even RP acknowledges that and the MM media is using it as a propaganda tool by continuing to ask him when he will have his first victory. The Establishment will do everything to stop RP, which unfortunately means fraud. I have no doubts that it's going on and hopefully one of these fckers can be caught in the act. We have the right message and the Establishment is deathly afraid that movement will catch fire and expose all the frauds including Romney and Santorum.

Be good to have a win, but.......

even if RP won a state or a few states, the mainstream media is still gonna either ignore the wins or play them down, i.e. one state isn't enough to prove he is electable, only a few state wins don't prove anything, the states he won are only rural or sparse population states, balh, blah, blah, ad nauseam. Delegates, delegates, delegates.

Optimistic

Yesterday was my first time ever at a caucus and I'd have to say that I was able to see Ron Paul's strategy first hand. Although he took second in the straw poll I saw some amazing things going on. There was a wonderful turnout in my area (they said about 4x that of last years). And there was A LOT of support for Ron Paul.
I didn't look into the other precints much but I know that in my own precint Ron Paul delegates took the 1st, 2nd and 1st alternate delegate spots. That's 3 out of 4 possible spots. So although to outsiders watching the news it doesn't look like he's doing well, I'm very optimistic that he is racking up those delegates as he claims :)
GO RON PAUL!

Great report! Im so curious

Great report! Im so curious to get some official delegate numbers from previous sates

Just posted

About Minnesota in the thread below under the title "Slightly Wrong."

Some of you make me so angry.

I don't know how many times this needs to be repeated but in the caucus states it doesn't matter one iota who wins the damn preference straw vote. Sure it would be great to have Ron pull off a straw vote win in a state but it isn't lime the media would give it much airtime anyway.

Those silly little staw votes (listen carefully here) have zip, zero, nada to do with the nomination and election of delegates and alternates in the caucus states.

So you get a bunch of sweater vests to turn out for Santorum and vote for him in the straw vote. How many of them stepped up to become delegates for him? As a whome do they have better numbers than RP supporters in the stqte Senate District, the county, the congressional district, the state??!!

Remember, there are three of them (establishmentarians) and one RP. Let them dillute the est. vote.

What I wanna know is how many of you walked out of YOUR precinct caucus with a list of all the delegates/alternates, their name, address, phone number, and email??

Bonus question: Of those dels/alts that were elected out of your precinct caucus, which ones are RP supporters?

There were 3 precincts

There were 3 precincts sitting at my table.
My precinct only myself and one other Paul supporter showed up so we took both slots. I have photos of both the delegate sheet and the straw vote as well as I took the pink duplicate copies of both.

The precinct next to me had 3 Ron Paul supporters too they filled their two delegate slots and an alternate. I don't know if they took photos, they probably did.

The other precinct had 5 Ron Paul supporters and 3 Romney supporters. Two Romney supporters were older and didn't want to delegate the second supporter lost out by popular vote. All delegate slots and alternatives in that precinct were filled by Ron Paul supporters and they have photos posted on facebook of straw vote and delegate sheet as well.

They should remove the delegate sheet from FB

You don't want to make your opposition's job easier for them.

Make them struggle to find out who the delegates and alternates are.

Slightly wrong.

There are SOME caucus states that are BOUND meaning that the delegates are going to be required to vote for the candidate that wins in their district. Washington is not one of them though.

So the straw poll DOES count in those states.

As for your questions:

I have my list for not only my precinct, I also have it for my whole county (which just had their BPOU convention yesterday. I'm in MN) but I'm not going to publicly list all their names and addresses.

I WILL tell you that in our whole county we (RP supporters) took 14/22 Congressional District seats and 15/22 State seats. There were 2 other counties that I know of that had their convention yesterday that had a shut out of RP delegates (15/15 in one and 17/17 in another. 7/8 in a third one that I am aware of too and one other county that we know the entire precinct caucus's were all RP supporters so we know that the county most likely went that way too). We are DOMINATING here in MN.

My particular county has a lot of evangelicals so they were single issue voting for Santorum and that's why we had about 50/50 here. In addition, in my district in particular, they did their dead level best to shut me and the other RP supporters out. (one of the gals I go to church with pegged me as RP supporter early on and ratted me out to the 'established elite" of our district. Grrr. We only had 8 of us to 19 of them (santorum supporters)in my district but even with that opposition, we managed to get 2/5 CD and 2/5 State seats because some of the less rabid Santorum supporters there had enough brains to see that the younger folk in our group had INTELLIGENCE and gave great speeches.

This has been some d*mn hard work and we are not done yet! Congressional district convention is in April and State is in May where we do this all over yet again to vote for the final delegates that are going to Nationals.

So the rest of you folk out there are going to have to take a deep breath and wait a big awhile yet before final delegate numbers can be given to you. But I'm tellin you right now, the caucus state delegates across this nation are what is going to make this thing happen!

LOL

Should I wear a sweater vest to my caucus so that they may pick me for a delegate?? LOL

yes

And a Guy Fawkes' mask to boot.

They do matter, because the

They do matter, because the general public at large doesn't understand how the delegates work and so assume Ron Paul can't win. Yes, WE KNOW that he's in second place but the general future voting public at large doesn't. So it DOES matter for that reason. The campaigns fundraising is drying up and he's losing a lot of people who were/are sitting of the fence. That's FACT, and a fact that could/would have changed with a straw poll win.

The MSM and the POLLSTERS are Clearly

in cahoots...

The Poll that was released the day before Washington's Caucuses was as follows:

Romney - 37%...Santorum - 32%??? Are you kidding me?...

Dr. Paul - 16% Yeah, right...GinGrinch - 13%

Then the MSM picks up the ball and runs with it, telling their viewers and readers that Dr. Paul is a 'Distant' third in Washington, and even though Dr. Paul has been campaigning heavily in the state it will make virtually, no difference at all...

It's all about Public Perception...

The MSM ALWAYS wants to portray Dr. Paul as a loser...

Even though he isn't.

harder to poll a caucus than a primary

And you notice that the Romney and Gingrich numbers were pretty close - 38 and 10. While I doubt RP took votes directly from Santorum, it looks like some of Ricky's voters found other things to do Saturday while RP got a few more of ours to show up. Santorum was expected to do well in the eastern part of the state (and he did, but RP matched his efforts) but it was around the major pop. centers that Santorum failed. Don't want to make too much of it but that could be a sign that his momentum has stopped (and he is now lowering expectations in OH too.)

Did you forget the media attention when we were polling a close 2nd in IA? There was a lot of talk about 'is RP going to pull this off?' and associated stories.

The media will always latch onto whatever element of a poll or event will be the most dramatic to hold the viewers.

Screwed like in 2008 repeat?

Several times on DP, I read that Ron Paul got screwed at the Republican convention in Nevada in 2008, will the same thing happen in Tampa even if he gets more delegates than Romney without winning a single state?

I thought this was a good one :)

...."For $500, supporters can attend breakfast with Mr. Gingrich on Tuesday morning at a country club outside San Diego. (For $1,000, they can have their photograph taken with him.) That evening, Valentine’s Day, he will attend a cocktail reception at a private home in Fresno, Calif., where a $2,500 donation includes “a little Champagne, a photo op,” said Wendy Turner, the host."

I feel it’s time to focus our efforts. Let’s demand a fair election, no doubt about that. But I feel it’s sometime a too much of a focus. This campaign can only be won by convincing people face to face.

No other candidate has even close to the grass roots support as Ron Paul. I believe we could use this situation even more efficiently! Let’s spend less time talking about fraud and more time talking to our neighbors and friends about Ron Paul. Even though the things that happened in Maine was messed up – when we focus on this we have a harder time coming across to our fellow Americans that are not yet Ron Paulers. I frankly think we scare them away.

Most people want to be part of the main stream winning path. Just look at all the people who vote for Romney because of “electability”! Sometimes as much as 50% of Romney’s support! HA!

We are treated unfairly. Yes! But the only way we can win this is by putting our maine (word joke) focus on next state, then the next state – and so on.

All you in Washington and other states that have voted: Send your signs, knowledge and other material to states that have yet to vote. We are winning a lot of delegates already and I have a feeling that it’s going to be damn tight in Tampa. So let’s keep the spirit up and move on

I would love to hear your thoughts.
