Seattle Times: Ron Paul campaign claims 'irregularities' with delegate appointments

Who said we're gonna take the hijacking of our American Constitutional Republic lying down?

RP2012 Official campaign in Washington steps up to the plate, and will pursue legal remedies, when needed:

"Should this blatant attempt to corrupt the process continue in King County, or anywhere else, the Paul Campaign will pursue all of the legal remedies to ensure that the process is fair and legal and that the rights of citizens participating in the process are NOT violated" - David Warringotn, official RP2012 campaign attorney

Oh yeah, The Doc and R3VOL are SERIOUS about winning. Period.

Ron Paul campaign claims 'irregularities' with delegate appointments

Posted by Jim Brunner

The Ron Paul campaign, suspicious of the Republican establishment, has accused top Washington GOP officials of "shenanigans" in delegate appointments ahead of Saturday's caucuses.

The accusation was flatly denied by GOP leaders, who suggested the Paul campaign is looking for a way to discredit the caucuses if the Texas congressman loses.

In a letter to party leaders Wednesday, Paul campaign lawyer David Warrington alleged "substantial irregularities" in the selection of precinct-committee officers (PCOs) in King County...

Ron Paul threatens to disrupt Wash. GOP caucus

Posted: Feb 29, 2012 9:55 PM Updated: Feb 29, 2012 10:28 PM
Associated Press

SEATTLE (AP) - SEATTLE (AP) - Ron Paul's presidential campaign is threatening to fight the seating of some Washington delegates to the Republican National Convention because he says there's a lack of transparency in how party officials from the state's largest county are chosen.

Paul's claim comes three days before Washington holds its Republican caucuses Saturday.

Kirby Wilbur, the state Republican Party chairman, says Paul's accusations are "baseless."

Paul's campaign says the King County GOP violated party rules by not submitting the names of certain party officials who will take part in the caucuses.

The Chucky Webster of Washington GOP RINO GateKeepers?
Meet King County GOP Chairwoman Lori Sotelo:

Why TF is this woman still in the party? She should've been indicted, convicted, and jailed! In fact, like most corrupt politicos, she failed UPWARDS! From Vice Chair of King County GOP, she became the Chair?? WTF? F? F?

King County Canvassing Board Rejects Republican Lori Sotelo's Voter Challenges

by Eli Sanders

In mid-November, as Lori Sotelo walked into the first of several hearings into her controversial attempt to challenge the voting rights of almost 2,000 King County residents, I asked her how she felt. Sotelo, the Mercer Island woman who serves as vice-chair of the King County Republican Party and also heads what the Republicans call their "Voter Integrity Project," replied: "I'm very prepared." She looked quite nervous, however. Behind her, a colleague carried evidence in a box marked "shred."

As it turned out, Sotelo had reason to be nervous. On Monday, November 28, the King County Canvassing Board, which conducted the hearings, formally rejected the vast majority of challenges that Sotelo had served on people who voted in the November election (her challenges of people who didn't vote in that election will be handled in the coming weeks). King County Executive Ron Sims, wasting little time in turning the tables on a political party that has long painted him as inept at overseeing the King County Elections office, embraced the board's decision and described Sotelo's actions as "an abuse of the challenge process" that amounted to "a deliberate attempt to intimidate voters." Sims repeated calls from local Democratic officials and many angry voters for a formal perjury investigation by the King County Prosecutor's office into Sotelo's challenges, saying she had signed false oaths on each of the challenges that were ultimately rejected by the board.

A perjury investigation of Sotelo, Sims said, "is what elections law requires. Anything less would be a slap in the face of the voting public of King County—and that is essentially what Ms. Sotelo did in swearing out hundreds of false challenges."

Quite the "Chairwoman," eh?

If the blog's assertions are proven true (a fellow R3VOL's site, no reason to doubt, for now), we've got certifiable RINOs we need to PURGE from the party, like everywhere else.

Wonder if Romney paid off bribed all of his local state party chair. What would surprise us, anymore?

Oh yeah, from the sound of it, she's more than likely a Wrongney supporter:

"I’m Pro-Life and I have a lot of women friends who are Pro-Life. But me and my Pro-Life friends would LEAVE the Republican Party if it ever took away a woman’s right to choose

~ Lori Sotelo, in secret debate, as the Chair of the 2006 County Platform Committee

"Everything Doug Parris says is a lie”

~ Lori Sotelo, to a 32nd/46th Legislative joint 2006 Party office candidate forum

Quite the class act, eh?

How Sotelo CHEATED RP-endorsed/endorsee Clint Didier; definitely not her first time Cheatin' the Rodeo:

Sotelo and Young cheating 2010: King County Convention

November 17, 2010 by Doug Parris

This is the second in a series of reports on the 2010 King County Republican Convention published earlier this year. The rest are Here

When I first got involved in the Republican Party, I did not see, nor understand, the mechanism behind the liberal dominance of our process and nominations. I assumed, at first, that Republican policies reflected the will of Republicans. In the years of battles since then I’ve become intimately familiar with the real power behind liberal Republicanism: sophisticated cheating.

Before I was credentialed for the King County Convention on Saturday, as I explained in Part I, I knew they intended to cheat conservative U.S. Senate candidate Clint Didier. Then, as soon as I was credentialed, had climbed to the top of the bleachers opposite the podium, and had read the rules, I knew where the cheating would begin...

Wow, this woman is truly a despicable creature, hell the entire WA GOP party establishment for that matter:

Sotelo’s “Parliamentarian”

November 17, 2010 by Doug Parris

The following article was first published in 2007. The events it chronicles are amazing in their own right. Here are officials of the Republican Party engaged in blatant parliamentary cheating with the single objective of making the Platform more liberal. But this history also illustrates the ongoing modus operandi of the King County Party under the current regime: Sotelo at the helm (Chairing) with Michael Young navigating (as parliamentarian), breaking rules (sometimes laws) together for an agenda in direct opposition to Republican interests. The same story keeps repeating.

I will never forget those few minutes [in 2006, seeing the ferocity of a beast on the face of a man; the Chairman of the King County Republican Party, no less, sitting a few feet away. It was a suddenly open window on the soul of Michael Young. I won't forget it and you shouldn't either. It was during the second official meeting of the County Platform Committee. [The committee's work spanned five months.] Young’s appointed 2006 Platform Committee Chair, Lori Sotelo, had spent most of the first official meeting, a week earlier, trying to pass a secrecy (gag) rule. She wanted to prevent me from publishing (here, at TheReaganWing.com) the extent to which she and Party Chair Michael Young were going to take conservative principles out of the Republican Platform. The truth getting out could have been devastating to their re-election in December. Their plan was supposed to be all subtlety and secrecy. But, while Mrs. Sotelo had no intention of using them, I was familiar with Roberts Rules of Order. In the First Meeting I had insisted on proper procedure, full debate, specific wording of proposals, and a full definition of what would be considered a “violation” of the proposed censorship. During debate I frequently resorted to our rules of debate. I pointed out that the Chair, as “referee” was not allowed to enter debate. So Lori stepped down, temporarily. I made motions. I proposed amendments. Lori’s first proposals were defeated and the issue, each time, should have died. But one of Lori’s allies on the committee would always invent new wording. I kept pointing out that each proposed gag rule would prevent delegates from reporting back to their districts. (The final wording actually did (!!). If you got a report on the Platform Committee from your representative in a District meeting any time between March and the County Convention, it was in violation of the censorship rule.)
It took an hour and forty minutes of struggle, and, later, falsification of the minutes, to get what she wanted.

LOL! I was about to 'misspell' her last name to "Sotero," too!

"I think they are looking for a way to discredit the process," said Sotelo, who pointed to spelling and grammatical errors in the Paul campaign's letter and accompanying news release. (For instance, the Paul campaign misspelled her last name as "Sotero.")

Sotelo and State GOP Chairman Kirby Wilbur rejected the Paul accusations and said all the presidential campaigns have been treated equally. "There is nothing to this," said Wilbur with more than a hint of exasperation.

-- yeah, anticipating and prepping a lie will do that to ya!

Sotelo said she's never worked against the Paul, but she anticipated his campaign would trot out conspiracy theories before the Saturday caucuses. She pointed to similar accusations in other states, as well as the disruptive behavior of some Paul supporters at the state's 2008 caucuses.

-- yeah, float "conspiracy theory" around, perpetuating stereotyped MSM smear meme against the R3VOL. I so wished the R3VOL would've gotten rid of this chump prior to 2012. but must forge on.

And now, meet Chucky Webster's literal counterpart, the Washington State GOP Chair, Wilbur Kirby:

Seems to have a lot in common with Nut Grinch:

Too bad he's a gunguy: NONE of what he had is 'wrong;' the following narrative is from a liberal blog anway.

but seem like a Tea-o-CON; any local WA R3VOL would like to shed further light on this guy?

If you are a delegate WARNING WARNING WARNING

you must without a doubt go through all the above links. Especially the ones concerning Lori Sotelo. This is what you are going to be up against and I can only say that these people do not even deserve to live in this country. They are absolute evil filth from the lowest bowels of hell spawned by satan himself is the only way to describe them.

Sometimes they will appear a smiling faces.

The only way you you can beat them is to study Roberts Rules like you life depends on it. Form study groups and study study study. This is so serious. The GOP

This is so serious. The GOP should make every effort to support all republican candidates, ALWAYS. To pick any over any other is not right at all.

Asked why the PCO list was not made available until Friday, Sotelo said the list is primarily for internal party use -- and that none of the other presidential campaigns complained.

Senator Peter Schiff 2016

all I gotta say is,

BRAVO to EVERY R3VOL making a point to get involved within internal party politics to purge the jokers from within.

hell, all I see are several generations of entrenched leechin' statists within GOP, in every state, when rubber meets the road.

Don't think I'd have the patience to deal with lunatics day in and day out, sit through their BS, whining, meandering internal moanings, having to constantly call them out, relentlessly challenging the party machine constantly moving the goalpost, writing rules, re-writing them ex post facto to specifically shove the R3VOL out.

from almost every single post on internal party politics I read, it's just like an endless succession of corruption, trickery, bribery, cheating, and outright fraud.

I am so thankful to those with the drive and patience still fight through it all, and better, STAY within the local party's internal structure to do it all.

To that end, Washington R3VOL have their work cut out for them. So wish them luck this Saturday, and beyond.

However, as cliched as it maybe, the larger the metro which always tends to be a liberal city, the internal party politics become dirtier, and dirtier. Suppose it's to be expected the larger the population, the bigger the money, the bigger the stakes, but still, it's actually pretty sad to see, regardless. Which makes it all the more commendable for those R3VOL involved.

So Bravo to y'all!

& to those who may not have heard yet, the Doc just came in a very strong 3rd in Wyoming Caucuses at 21% with SIX delegates, and probably ultimately more, when all is said and done!

Predictions in due Time...

"Let it not be said that no one cared, that no one objected once it's realized that our liberties and wealth are in jeopardy." - Dr. Ronald Ernest Paul

Their own rules condemn them

Those lists of appointed PCOs are, according to Rule # 1 (WSRP) to be made available to ANYONE for inspection or copies made available at cost.

So ... inquiring minds wish to know why after multiple requests from the Paul campaign, those lists were not made available for inspection or otherwise . . . HMMM? How come?!?
