To all those who give unearned credit to the King's messenger boy Peirce Morgan:

How about a real Interview by someone having a vested interest in preserving Liberty, instead of the opposite?

Liberty (spokesperson):

Liberty (spokesperson):
"This is a humbling experience, having this opportunity to pry into an honest man's viewpoints on such grave matters as the condition of our species, at this time of severe danger: someone in command of so much voluntary power from all over the world, have you seen some of your poll numbers from other countries? You could be elected to the President of the World had the U.S. Criminal Cartel not cornered the Legal Money Market, by fraud, and by force, at this time."

"I think I know what you mean, but those are some strong words, and I am happy to represent Liberty here at home, in this Republic."

Liberty (spokesperson):
"My most important question, as I see it, having to do with your intentions, once you are able to change the current regime of Legalized Fraud and Extortion, back into something resembling representative self-government, is, and I won't settle for anything but a thorough, and accurate answer, the question is, will you do as I have read that you want to do, and that is to allow private citizens to use whatever money they choose, or in other words, are you going to end the enforcement of one legal money? But I have to qualify that question, in case your answer does not address the main concern."

"You are speaking of Legal Tender Laws, and I do want to be clear about the question."

Liberty (spokesperson)
"Yes, and I don't want to send the wrong message here: what is vital in any market, if the idea is to force quality up, and to force cost down, is freedom, a truly free market, where producers compete to gain market share, and therefore they have to, they must, or someone else will, produce higher quality than the competition, and lower cost compared to the competition, and with that force in place, quality is forced up, and cost is forced down, and that occurs without resort to fraud, and that occurs without resort to coercion of any kind. Do better and success is the natural reward, and so, eventually, that is the target for the Legal Money Market, yes or no?"

"Yes, that is the target, but to get there, to the target, the current situation includes a massive debt, and so a return to the Constitutional mandate of Gold and Silver as Legal money, is an obvious first step, for many reasons, for reasons that may not fit into a sound bite."

Liberty (spokesperson):
"And our time is almost up, but that was the answer I need to confirm my estimate concerning your honest intentions, proven over a long period of time, and that is as you say, and as you do, to work toward the preservation of Liberty. Thank you very much for your valuable time, as I know it is, having not been able to afford the admission price to one of your speaking engagements in Reno."

"No underhanded, hidden, subliminal personal attacks, and dirty political tricks?"

Liberty (spokesperson):
"What would be the point in becoming that which we abhor?"

"No point at all."

Liberty (spokesperson):
"Thank you very much."

"You are welcome."

Piers Morgan is absolutely

Piers Morgan is absolutely terrific as a studio analyst on Fox's soccer broadcasts. He's fun, sharp, provocative, etc. -- all the stuff you want in a good television sports personality.

I really wish he'd stick with that, and stay the hell away from politics.

Ok, if PM continues

to be more respectful to Dr. Paul, I will consider stopping to state he should go back to his own country. Good job Dr. Paul!

I am just putting this here

I am just putting this here to get more views so that hopefully someone who this applies to sees it.

I am from southwest Michigan and I am looking to move fourteen official Ron Paul 2012 campaign signs along with four smaller car magnets and two of the big car magnets. I'll also throw in over a thousand Superbrochures if one wants. I will drive them directly to you in northern Indiana. I'm looking at getting fifty bucks for this, all of which will be donated to the campaign. The idea is to save on the manufacturing and shipping costs which do nothing to help the campaign.

If I bring them on a weekend I'll also be happy to help canvass with/for you, as I know it's sometimes hard to canvass your neighbors but it is the most important thing that one can do. I will just need you to print out your precinct walking list for me however.

I hope to hear from someone sooner than later!

Better interview, but still BS

What other candidate gets asked over and over about the other candidates rather than focusing on the issues and what actually matters. Ron should just end it by saying I will continue the interview if and only if you allow me to explain why I should be the next President of the United States and stop asking me what I think about the other candidates. I will be happy to explain in detail why my positions on economics, foreign policy, etc. are all superior to the status quo.

Was this a real-time interview?

As I viewed it, there were several moments when I felt that Dr. Paul's comments were cut short with video editing. Did no one else see that?

RP needs to say that he is focused on his campaign only like the others. This may mean even less interviews, but I feel he must take this action to stop plugging other candidates in his interviews.

This was a wonderful interview on oil/gold/dollar.

If anything, it's just more proof of what is happening in Iran and the dollar. The think tank guy even mentions the 1953 coup!!!

Romney is Bruno's brother in law...

Watch out doc, I think he's coming on to you...Ha!

Dr. Paul at about 8 1/2 minutes in: "Maybe I'll have to ask him (Romney) to join me, when I get elected..." (paraphrase)

Ron Paul 2012...and beyond

Good Overall..But..

Man that newscaster is such a douche bag. Manipulating, sneaky weasel. Anyone else catch the show trying to make Ron Paul look crazy (to the uninformed masses who don't understand Austrian Economics) by showing the clip of the Financial Hearings, where he is talking about allowing people to be able to save silver dollars under their mattresses, edited in such a way that gives no pre explanation or allows Ron to sufficiently explain his point or lesson (to those who may not of heard monetary policy explained before) and Peirs coming in saying "You really stuck it to him with that silver coin, Ron" and looking over at his staff right after, (like a 10 year old school girl, looking over at their friends for a reaction) after a pathetic attempt to discredit Ron??! ....... I see these little bastards sneaky, pathetic attempts to stop the R[3VOL]UTION. BUT IT WONT WORK. LIBERTY IS BURNING LIKE WILDFIRE IN THE HEARTS OF HUMANITY!! AN IDEA WHOSE TIME HAS COME CANNOT BE STOPPED BY AN AMRY OR GOVERNMENT!! WOOT!!! - AnimusOfLiberty

Keep your eye on the prize! - Ending legal tender laws in order for the Federal Reserve System to self-destruct is of the upmost importance.

Larry King

He let others speak their mind, and sat back and let the interview evolve.

"I, __________, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic."

There is no duration defined in the Oath

This Romney friendship keeps coming up

because they know they’re going to have to deal with Ron’s power base… his supporters. It’s like they’re saying, “Since you won’t go away and go third party… how would you feel if we gave you a seat at our table?” In my opinion Ron’s reply to this persistent offer is a little too tempered but it may be either Ron’s way of responding or part of a strategy. One thing is for certain: the establishment (the oligarchy dictators that rule the US) will not give Ron Paul and his power base what they want in exchange for a seat at their table. They will pretend to… they will lie like they always do but they will never restore constitutional government.

I also wonder if having Ron on during the same episode covering the “natural” death of an outspoken reporter was trying to send a message: “Take a seat at our table or else. If an outspoken reporter at 43 can die naturally so can an outspoken politician at 76.”

"When the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will know peace."
Jimi Hendrix

You are right about the friendship...

The friendship is just a way to not allow Paul to run third party, pretend to offer him something to smear his name as if he conceded, and then take in Paul's supporters into GOP and not some other third party.

I agree with you - they will befriend you and then lie to you and then it'll be too late to change and get away from gop-romney.

Paul supporters seem to think they will have a lot of influence in the party, but that is just lunacy. They will trick into getting Paul's delegates to Romney and away from the conservative movement.

Rally to the GOP?

Didn't Ron also say something to the effect that despite negative ads, once the nomination was made, like a family the GOP will rally around whoever it is. Ron also made noises about serving in some undefined capacity in a Romney administration, if he was asked.

I don't know about others but if Ron isn't the nominee the GOP and their statist candidate can go suck eggs.

Thanks Piers

I did not think you had it in you. A fair and considerate interview. Maybe there is hope for you after all. Dr. Paul was great as usual!!!! The country needs him as President, hands down, nobody else comes close.

The interview was good but it

The interview was good but it still felt like some questions were slanted or leading, while others made it seem like Piers (or whomever wrote the questions) hasn't been paying attention to his positions or anything RP has said in general.

Pride and greed hold us all back, to the benefit of the few and detriment of the whole.

DR Paul needs to hit the other candidates

hard when he gets interviewed to maximize press coverage.

Good interview

I would agree it was one of the better ones so far. The drums of war was a great point to bring up. Being a vet, every time I see one of these idiots on the networks or one of the other candidates screaming for invasion and war; I just want to echo Dr. Pauls comments and ask them if they are willing to pick up a rifle and lead the charge. Perhaps send their sons and daughters...when did our nation forget that war is an action of last resort and only in defense of this country.

My sentiments exactly

and I am also a veteran - U.S. Army infantry

Not a vet

I am not a vet.

My Dad survived Korea, not without consequence, and it was one of those criminal wars of aggression, specifically, accurately, undeniably, outside of the law, unlawful, and according to the their own laws: against the law.

If things go unchecked, the way they are going, China, with all those ready workers, willing to follow in the footsteps of all the brain washed tax payers, as we have, as the Nazis have, as the Bolsheviks have, sending the Chinese Government more power, and more power, as we send more power to our own Criminal Government, as they take that power and send it to Militarize China, so that China will win World War III, and take over "World Reserve Currency Status" (A.K.A. Legal Money Monopoly, Fraud, Extortion Racket, World Wide), and Dictate Economic "Policy" to US, if that is what we pay into, until we cannot afford to do so anymore, then these days, now, will be know better, for what they are, the last chance for Liberty in America.

Defense of Liberty, no lies.

What a great way to start my day! Fair and balanced interview by PM. Dr Paul, as always, very presidential. I love how he sticks to the issues and downplays drama...

Not Ron's Best Performance At All

Ron seemed like either he just woke up or wants to go to sleep

Very little energy, smart answers sure
But no energy

Home Run!

Dr. Paul nailed every answer, and yes the host was very fair and respectful (especially compared to others he's faced). Maybe RP is getting better at handling the Q&A, or maybe I'm just used to seeing him and know what he's going to say before he says it. Probably a little of both. Anyway, great job Dr. Paul! Let's win Idaho, Washington, Alaska, Vermont, Oklahoma, Hawaii, South Dakota, Wisconsin, Kansas, Montana, etc..........

Very Fair

I thought this was Piers Morgan's fairest interview he has given to Dr. Paul so far.

He almost seems to agree with him at moments and shows him a lot more respect than I've seen in the past.

"Once you become knowledgeable, you have an obligation to do something about it."- Ron Paul

I agree

In fact, even more so that he was fair and did an honest interview, but lets not forget Ron Paul was on his show the entire time not even a month ago. I'm not sure how often he has reoccurring guest, but I was shocked. When I found out Dr. Paul was going to be on the show I thought it was going to be because that journalist who died a couple days ago... but no he didn't ask one question about that. This was a fair, respectful interview on a show that is aired twice, a full 25-30 minutes worth of combined airtime, he gave him time to answer the questions and Ron nailed every question.

Critical interview here right before Super Tuesday, kudos to CNN for putting Ron Paul on the show for a 2nd interview in just a few weeks time.

If the Nobel Peace prize committee was worth its salt

Ron Paul would be a shoo in winner - not that he would care all that much about getting it, considering who else it has been awarded to.

Wow, best I have seen

This may have been the most confident and clearest I have ever seen Dr. Paul. He offered respectful contrasts with his opponents and did so in a gentlemanly way. Morgan actually asked real policy questions too. Good job for him.

The interview has a low key practical/moderate tone that many Americans find appealing in this age of heated debate.

I like the spin of Paul vs. the other three idiots in the race.
