...Why would he want Secret Service when they are brought to him by the very people who will stop @ nothing to keep him out of the White House! Think Secret Service would actually be more dangerous to him & possibly spy on him too...never know! I do believe he has his own security guards, thought I heard that, not sure.

in the Secret Service, who were apparently complicit in the JFK assassination. The Secret Service is part of the Treasury Department and Treasury is awfully cozy with the Federal Reserve. Kennedy had just issued an executive order to have Congress begin printing U.S. currency, and that must have sounded the Def-con klaxon for TPTB. If that was the real reason Kennedy was taken out, just think how they might set Dr. Paul up for a bullet.

I say no Secret Service, just upgrade his private security.

I doubt they would be so bold with today's technology as to shoot him. Michael Savage was even speaking on the subject today over the Andrew Breitbart situation. Slip a drug into the victims food or water which causes cardiac arrest when ingested and is traceless under normal autopsy testing.

At 76, the media would easily dismiss this as a result of "stress from the campaign trail". I believe Dr. Paul is intelligent enough to realize this possibility and brave enough to accept this responsibility. He is already a hero, but I fear if he doesn't take the proper precautions, he may become a martyr.

That just quit the secret service a couple of months ago. Its a complete dog and pony show. They operate on Hollywood mystique and public perception. Think TSA, but less grabby and offensive.

As far as JFK, I don't attribute anything to a conspiracy theory if it can be attributed to incompetence.

This video came to mind immediately when they mentioned the SS.
To me this video was more horrifying than JFK's shooting itself.

I had noticed Romney had SS agents since almost the beginning of the primaries. You could see in his face how smug and presidential he felt... Carried around by the secret agents.

are what were authorized by executive order. Kennedy disliked the Fed.. They looked like a FRN, but have "United States Note" over Jefferson's picture ($2 bill). They also have a red seal. Some $20 million were issued to cover a small deficit that year (1963)until Johnson rescinded Kennedy's executive order. I have several $2's and a $5. Most were collected and destroyed by LBJ's order. Not sure if other denominations were issued. Sorry if off topic but very interesting to me:)

i can get behind increased private security as a workable alternative, but that costs a lot of money that could go toward other things..
