Has Dr. Paul visited Dixville Notch? Are meetups working there? How could would it be to win this precinct -- we'd be all over the news the day of voting. Anybody have information on this?

Does Dixville Notch matter?
Has any candidate gotten a "bump" out of coverage from the Dixville Notch results?
As a primary observer since 1992 (I saw them vote for Marrou on C-SPAN), I would have to say no. The Dixville Notch vote is best classified under "Features" not "News" and NH voters view it that way.
that fucking Fox vehicle is headed that way I heard @ RPForums
i hope we have people there wherever the hell that is
Ron Paul 2008
bump NH
Any word on RP in Dixville Notch?

Dixville Notch
This is FOX news reporting that the people of Dixville Notch have just concluded their voting. The results are a big surprise, but since we are the fair and balanced news network, we won't release the results until all the polls close. In the meantime, it looks good for John McCain. He is experiencing a major surge and will probably be the winner.....
Anyway, you get the message.
he should win there
He won it as a Libertarian in '88, so he certainly should win it as a Republican.
Wrong.
Ron Paul got zero votes in Dixville Notch in 1988. I visited there that Octobertrying to pry loose some votes for him. A that point I hatched a plan to do better in 1992.
It was Libertarian Andre Marrou, Paul's VP 1988 running mate, who won in Dixville Notch in 1992, after four years of preparatory work be me and others. I was Marrou's NH state campaign coordinator and can assure you that we overwhelmed the opposition there with *numerous* candidate visits, a video of Marrou's address to the NH legislature, a tape from libertarian radio host Gene Burns, who was a frequent and well-known guest at the Balsams Hotel there, a young town manager for Marrou, a handwritten letter from the candidate along with a packet of literature and original clippings (not photocopies), and plenty of other elements.
A single visit by Ron Paul is unlikely to win at Dixville Notch.
New Hampshire and Ecuador
do you still live in the
do you still live in the area? who is favored?
really!? i didn't know
really!? i didn't know that!
Yes
I remember that he did visit Dixville Notch a month or so ago. The reason that the candidates get coverage from this is that the people in Dixville Notch vote at midnight and the vote is counted then and broadcast.
