There was one of the Youtube videos with him and Bernanke discussing inflation at a congressional hearing. RP told Bernenke that his rate cuts were hurting people on fixed incomes that have their money tied up in CDs. I work at a bank and there are alot of retired people that have there savings in CDs and they need to hear this. Something like RP will protect your savings with sound monetary policy. RP has said this before, all that he needs to do is bring this up on the campaign trail or on interviews.

He Looks Charged Up with Lots of Energy
I'm glad to see him all charged up. Last night he looked tired. People like enthusiasm even if they might not know exactly what he is saying.
Quite impressive
First, Wolf Blitzer treated Dr. Paul with respect. He asked excellent questions and Dr. Paul provided substantive answers. It's so obvious that Paul has a fundamental understanding of history, economics and politics, can easily think on his feet and is statesman-like.
The general level of the debates and political life in this country is so low, so commercial, so celebrity-driven, that's the big wall to surmount. People are simply not used to be addressed in a serious manner about serious issues, they all live on bumper stickers.

Arguably THE BEST short 5-10min interview in the past 6 months by Ron Paul on a major TV network, CNN, and interviewed by Wolf Blitzer who was amazingly respectful coherent, and gave RP 90% of the talk time, which RP hit out of the park with concise and answers to hard questions which anyone watching couldn't help but say "YES, I get it!!!!"....
Then the crap interviews like the Moyers, etc. a lot of you people on here praise it and say it was fantastic when it was easily one of the worst ones, not RP's fault but PBS/Moyers fault...

I've noticed now, that he keeps repeating the same "sound bites", which of course, all candidates to to get their message out. Given this fact, IMO he could refine his message a bit more, esp. in terms of inflation, by focusing on the adverse effects to people with fixed incomes.

I understand diferent people on this forum and elsewhere have different views about how RP might explain something better...
There is a difference between all of us on the forum and RP -- he is the one in the game.
How many of us would have the courage day after day for thirty years to stand up to the mainstream nonsense? To be constantly ridiculed, laughed at. Most people couldn't stand the pressure.
RP got where he got by being what he is. Don't ask for anything else -- even if he would try it he would become something of an actor and everyone would see through it. Then what would we have and what would we be? He is the one every day standing in front of the oncoming train.
Anyone complaining about this has ample opportunities to educate people in detail in a manner you like -- through the internet, face to face with others, private advertising, etc.

Fortunately Ron Paul had a opportunity to clarify many of his misunderstood points here! Unfortunately, the morons on stage never give him that opportunity. Romney and Huck are the most assertive with the "now just let me finish" and they don't let others talk on top of them. It would help Ron Paul if he could begin to be a bit more assertive and say, "Now STOP, all of you. You are perverting my words. I would now like to clarify while you extend to me the same courtesy I show to you by allowing me to do so without interruption."

Straight Talk
Ron Paul needs to talk to the common man. There is a reason why gas is at an all time high. There is a reason why you can still barely make ends meet. There is a reason why your SS check doesn't go as far as it used too. There is a reason that savings rates are negative in America. There is a reason why the cost of housing, cars , breakfast, lunch and dinner have gone up in "price". There is a reason why you tax bill goes up every year. There is a reason why your children can't get a decent education in public school. There is a reason why health insurance premiums keep going up. There is a reason why your job went overseas. There is a reason that the border is left open. There is a reason they want to make illegal immigrants legal. There is a reason we went to war against a country that didn't attack us. The answer is a failed monetary system, created illegally in 1913 that put elite bankers in control of the monetary supply. Induced politicians into thinking they can offer any program they want while enslaving future generations of Americans to pay for it all.
