So, so, so glad...

You are on board! As a former liberal, with most of my family and all of my friends still brainwashed, it is heartening to have you speaking out with such candor and clarity for the one man among many who deserves our support. Integrity is all that matters at this point and yours and his shines through. It helps that he's right besides!

Doesn't the answer seem

logical? Taking money from one group of people to give to another while having the government skim 40% of it off the top to go towards the bureaucracy not only makes the country weaker, but it is inhumane.

The more we are taxed, the poorer the country becomes because the money is extracted from private hands and distributed by a bloated fat government who steals 40% of the money in the process. Taking money from someone who worked hard for it and giving it to someone else who is not working doesn't make sense. I know the arguments against this, but by principle taxes are theft when the government decides it should take money from you and give it to me.

thanks Robin, this was posted before

and won an enthusiastic thread. that's likely why there aren't so many comments this time around.

Awesome clip

I agree: great question, great answer.

I'm 31, and I want to phase out of social security.
