Ron Paul In Anchorage March 4th

My wife (Grambo2) and I had the pleasure of attending and helping at Dr. Paul's rally here in Anchorage Sunday. It was held at the new Dena'ina Civic and Convention Center. There were 1034 seats set up on the floor, all taken, with an estimated 350 or so left standing. Unfortunately, security for the center decided to wand people coming in causing a late start and people were still arriving as Dr. Paul was finishing his presentation. I honestly felt the whole issue could have been handled better, especially since they did not open the doors to the public until 5:15 PM with the venue slated for a 6 PM start. If anyone knows a valid reason behind this I'd like to hear from them.

With our numbers here in Anchorage, coupled with the attendance quoted for the Fairbanks rally, Dr. Paul was able to reach out to a substantial number of his Alaskan followers.

On a lighter note, for those of you who have never heard the good Doctor speak in person, it was like sitting down and listening to an old friend. There were no "sound bite" moments. Simply a trusted friend discussing the where's and why's of today's national dilemma followed by responsible solutions for same. When able to personally hear Dr. Paul's thoughts from beginning to end without portions removed or placed out of context by the MSM, he is elevated to a even higher plane.

We only have a day and a half until we vote in the Presidential Preference Poll. Be sure to stay after to participate in the selection of Delegates.

The following link captures the last few minutes of Dr. Paul's speech, but is included to show the reaction of the crowd as he finished.

Alaskans, Do Your Best To Right the Wrong

that those of us in the lower 48 states have so far been unable to correct due to the fraud within the leadership of the GOP. Give Ron a RIGHTEOUS victory in Alaska. Regardless of the outcome, you have our thanks for your effort despite the odds against us!

Thank You & Thank You West Coast Digital

Thank you for your heartfelt first hand report. I noticed many UTUBES from Alaska as well as the meet-up and this:

I like one of the Y.T. comments:

I was there

What strikes me the most about these pics is this: everyone you see standing against the walls were kept outside in the cold Anchorage night for most of Ron's speech, then were allowed to trickle in slowly, only to be meticulously "wanded" by an inefficient, "don't care" security staff. Yet, they stayed. It's becoming more clear to me that people are so starved for freedom they will endure whatever necessary for a morsel of truth and hope. God bless them all.

Thanks for posting this.

I hope there was plenty of coverage on Alaska media. Also I hope caucusers for Ron Paul show up TWO HOURS early after what happened in Washington with would-be participants turned away in droves.

New Hampshire and Ecuador.
